@@monarnyc Are you a black woman? Statistically black women experience this less than most other races of women due to dynamics and statistics I won't go into here. When people make comments like this, it's not about exclusion of other races. It's more about what the aforementioned race is lacking. Of course ALL women deserve this. That goes without saying.

Me too...I was totally not expecting the ending but i should not be surprised, that man stood on business and has been standing behind that declaration for 35 years! and I've seen the way the husband adores her......when they say 'person worships the ground you walk on', I think Judge Ketanji's husband is the embodiment of that phrase!!

They started dating at the end of her sophomore year and his junior. That would be 19 and 20. Then she went to law school at Harvard and he went to medical school at Columbia. Getting married before they were finished would have been very hard.

Amazing to see her in this light, I had written her off as upper-echelon or stuck up but this showed her humanity and beauty. The background story filled in a lot of missing information which led to my previous assessment. Great story, and I'm glad I was wrong and I thank God for her being who she is.
@troyt8224Ай бұрын
@@elainesmith7512 Always someone looking for an argument when there's nothing to argue about. I don't owe you or anyone an explanation of what I thought or felt about anything. That was my opinion which I am entitled to just like you are.
@sleo6664Ай бұрын
Wow, it's Amazing to me how people arrive at strong opinions about people that they have never had any real exposure to nor conversation with... I know how it feels to walk into a room with confidence & to have people treat you as if you did someting wrong for showing up in joyful confidence (not arrogance). Amazing to me. Like they say about showing up as a leader-it can be lonely at the Top.
@troyt8224Ай бұрын
@@sleo6664 There is a difference between confidence and arrogance, and you sound like the latter. I'm sure you didn't comment because of your great humility. You don't know me but yet you go off on something that has absolutely nothing to do with you just because others opinions don't align with your own. If you took the time to read my comment there's no need for reply because it explains everything. Wow! Really? I didn't want to take it there but to add context, as black man I have rarely had a good experience with any black woman who had some education or position who wasn't condescending, rude or disrespectful. That's my experience not my opinion. You seem to be just like that but unaware of it as well. Nobody ever said I want to be an asshole when I grow up but there are many almost everywhere you go and not one of them thinks they are that way, it's always the others who are the problem.
