That story would have been torment for me especially since it sounds like he might have been her 1st real love... I wouldn't have made it. It reminds me of the scene in Srx in City where Charlotte had a total melt down when she did everything in preparation for a proposal & lost it when Harry didnt act as expected in her time. They started dating at the end of her sophomore year and his junior. That would be 19 and 20. Then she went to law school at Harvard and he went to medical school at Columbia. Getting married before they were finished would have been very hard.
