12:45 I think you were fractions of a second too late in hitting full control. I believe that as soon as the card starts to move towards the board it has already determined that the etb is going on the stack and you weren't holding priority. It looks like you got it in time because you have to wait for all the animations to play out of the card moving to the battlefield and the ability going onto the stack.

It's boomer jund when it's built around cards from classic 2010s modern jund. It's zoomer jund when it's built around the most powerful jund midrange cards in the format

thoughtseize bug isnt an actual bug, its just what people call it when someone draws the thing that got thoughtseized. its called thoughtseize bug in paper magic too

With 4 copies of most cards, and Thoughtseize being played as much as it is, it's pretty likely to happen a couple times to Thoughtseize users. We just emotionally give more weight to the outliers than the many more cases where the opponent didn't draw into the same card.

I can't play timeless you either have to play a heavy disrupt deck or combo. I love losing to green blue om iscience. They turn 2 show and tell and if you disrup them they use that land to get there combo pieces back. I hate combo centric gameplay.

Day/Night is more streamlined. With the old mechanic, you'd have to keep track of all werewolves and new ones wouldn't enter on the backside

The old werewolf mechanics were tracked individually and you could ever have your werewolves enter on the backside

Day/Night cares about just the active player, and is therefor more likely to do something in multiplayer (read: Commander) than the thing that only flips if nobody cast anything at all in a full turn.
