I cannot stop listening to this specific, beautiful performance over and over. As a guitar player of 20 years, I have to bow to this. I listen to it at night after my day job when I need to wind down and relax. Please never... ever... take this down.

I saw Randy Hansen for the first time as a teenager in the late 1970's in Northern California, when he was know as Randy Hansen's Machine Gun. Being a "Hendrixphile" then I had to see him and was duly blown away. I saw him once more in the mid-1980's at a very small bar in San Francisco, CA because he had Tony Saunders on bass and Mitch Mitchell (!) on drums. I got to hang with Mitch, which was great as well as get to speak with Randy about gear and whatnot as he knew me at this point from a couple bands I was touring with then. Great guy and great player. THIS particular video is wonderful in showing how he transitions from one tune to another, to another and back again. Thank you very much for posting this. Also, sorry to be a bit long winded here.

brilliant. I prefer to listen to this that the original now. Just simply because he doesn't have to restrict it to 3.30 seconds or whatever. He can go off on one and play around with the song. And drifting into dear prudence as well.
