The best camp site is a free campsite. Well, not always, but free is usually a good thing, and with an RV you can access literally millions of acres of land and pick a site to rest upon. Glad to hear that you're liking your Phaeton - that specific model is on my short list. Question - with the tanks you have, how long are you able to boondock?

We have done 8 days and finished more due to schedule than a limit. We could have gone 2 or 3 more days without trouble.

Hi Jim, noticed your RAID drive, so I went back to your Internet connection video to learn more. You mentioned that you do nightly cloud backups. Doesn’t that use a lot of cell data? Do you have an unlimited plan?

Yes, and yes. We have two plans, AT&T and Verizon and both are unlimited, although subject to congestion issues at times.

I’m also wondering which video editing software you use, and if your Dell laptop is powerful enough, or does it struggle with 4K video?

I use POwerdirector. It has no problem with 4K on the Dell XPS15 laptop. Where the laptop falls down, I have found, is with Topaz artificial intelligence add ons. One really needs a good graphics process for those.
