Hey wait a minute! I saw you there!. There was a single guy camping in an A Liner with a silver Jeep Liberty and a bad shirt as I drove past in a VW GTI. Actually I did twice. The first time it was getting close to sunset, and I didn't want to make the trip around there in the dark, so I came back the next morning. I'm glad I did. It's one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. What a small world.

Just visited Valley of the Gods a week ago while camping on my RV in Monument Valley. Did some of the dirt road, but not all the way as I was not familiar with the area. I can only wonder what it would be like to camp there. Not experienced with Boondocking, but my RV is equipped for it, in theory. Great inspiration from you sir.

Hard to beat the scenery in Utah. I have been there twice and it is a geologist's dream come true. The only bad thing is the sandstone and clay dust when it is soaked with rain. You walk 20 feet and you have now grown 8 inches!!

Just recently have found your channel and subscribed. Been going thru you videos a little every day for a week or so because i also am a creator who has a channel mostly dedicated to travel with an emphasis on National Sites and I have lot's of videos from places that you have shared so its cool seeing someone else' perspective. Gotta say thank you for sharing as your quality of work is amazing and I have found inspiration in your clips and they are also great for doing some research on my future plans. great to see that i am not alone in my appreciation for your channel judging by your subscribers! I have already recommended your work to many of my subscribers as well. Honestly some of the very best here on KZbin. Heading out on 2 separate trips to the 4 corners region soon with 13 clips in mind. Mt favorite place in the country. once again, thanks so much for what you do and safe travels!

Slim, thanks for sharing! I'm considering getting an a-frame camper next year. I picked up flying paramotors this year, and want to get out to other locations, and an a-frame camper would be awesome for it. I'm watching through your videos with much interest, and love seeing the mods and really thoughtful, clever things you've come up with. What you eat when boondocking is pretty interesting, even if it's simple! It wouldn't be a bad idea to do a video on some of the various things you like to eat, and even some cooking.
@SlimPotatohead7 жыл бұрын
Hi Matthew, A paramotor and an A-frame would be TOTALLY COOL!!! Thanks for checking out my videos. I was thinking of making a food video eventually, I take little clips as I travel. Thanks for the tip!

Awesome pictures and the narration made them better. On my list to see, Totally Trailer gave me their GPS coords for a great spot. Would love to see more of the video if you have it 'on the cutting room floor'.
@SlimPotatohead7 жыл бұрын
Hi jwall62, There is only one 15 mile road with entrances at each end so you should have no trouble finding a good spot. I preferred the southeast part as the road was better than the west entrance. All spots are right beside the road. I really didn't have a strong story to share, so just kept it short this time. Thanks!

Outstanding videography & photos - wow! How rainstorm tight is your Aliner?
@SlimPotatohead7 жыл бұрын
Hi Terry, Good question. In general it is not bad. Torrential downpours in Texas only had a single drip in one of the vents I installed (my error). That said, I have encountered some moisture inside from more unique sources and conditions. I am working on a video to explain those situations and the fixes.
@K7CARadio7 жыл бұрын
Wow, very well done, I thought I was on the Nat. Geo channel. 👍😁🙌 Have you done professional videos in the past? UT is my fav. state to boondock. Bit early for March I can see all the mucked up roads and snow in the first part of the video. Spectacular scenery, so will have to check that out soon. Thanks for the awesome video.

Slim, if only the pictures flowed for another 10 minutes--perhaps an independent presentation. I'l always agog over the scenes south UT just abounds in. Fortunately for me, from there, I'd get to drive about 8 hours to Four Corners and US 550 past Chaco Canyon for a stop; and then, continuing home to the Sacramento Mountains of South Central NM--Ruidoso and Cloudcroft are just awesome to enjoy while staring at the desert floor surrounding Alamogordo, often 35 degrees cooler than "down there"..
