Nice! I remember looking at this value a bit, but didn't notice the closeness to the boost strength stat at the beginning of a boost. Modifying the machine stats was a good way to highlight that. This seems like it could explain the 'residual boost effect' from dash plates (as opposed to energy boosts), since Boost 228 lingers at decently high values for a longer time in the dash plate's case.
