Boost A pump install/2019 mustang

While at the track ran into some issues on my second and third pass. Check engine light came on due to running too lean. Could have ended badly. Being boosted dont run into these issues when theres a inexpensive fix. Thanks for watching!!! Like the vid & sub the channel!!!

Some people still upgrade to dual or triple pumps but with that might as well get a fuel system. I just see the fuel system for bigger power and E85. My goal is 700 rwhp so the boost a pump will work just fine. Thanks for watching appreciate it!

@@primofx2sport oh definitely, I put an 03 Terminator tank in my Fox with twin 450’s car probably only makes 700 ish on E85 but I wanted to just do it once. Later on I wanna make 900 wheel.

Yea you will see this issues as the weather gets cooler. Mine is a JMS but I would recommend the vmp boost a pump. Better to be safe than sorry! Thanks for watching!

No. It's not a pedal commander. It helps keep the fuel pump voltage running at higher voltage when in a heavier load and more fuel is needed. Sometimes your fuel pump can't keep up so it tends to run lean thats what the boost a pump prevents from happening.

So how does it measure boost and when to actually boost voltage??

It just keeps the voltage a constant 12+ volts. So there’s no voltage drop.

This is a jms I picked up off a buddy. I tried searching the part number but nothing shows. I think it's the one offered when you go phase 2 on the 11-14 roush blower. Either way I would recommend getting the vmp boost a pump. Same exact install.

Yes sir! If you go to tune and want peak power they will request fuel system or bap. I didn't want any issues when it came to tunning.

What BAP are you using and how has it been?

It's a JMS and it was awesome while I was on 93. Never had any issues running lean. I switched to e85 at some point and went return style fuel system.
