They didnt. Its just more hyped. U cant kill nike. Everyone knows what a nike shoe is and not an adidas. Adidas got a long way to go. Adidas only has the hyped nmds, ultraboost and yeezys. Nike kills the running market, basketball, casual wear, and apparel. Boost has been out for 2-3 years. Kanye only made them hyped.

The boost material is really good, I own 2 pairs of boost shoes myself and really like them but people really talk alot of bullshit here. First of all boost is not "groundbreaking" or anything, it's just another good sole. My Nike Prestos can still keep up easily comfortwise. Secondly people need to realize that although boost was a major success and adidas has grown alot theyre still FAR smaller than Nike, they're not even half as big. Look up the numbers if you don't believe me...

Roham Hadidchi no, not at all. In fact, Kanye is what changed everything. He took over to Adidas to continue the Yeezy line, which popularized the then unknown boost midsole, and caused the other shoes from that line to feed off the hype from it. Also, boost did make a big change, but there were much, much more revolutionary midsoles that made a much larger impact such as Nike Air, windowed Nike Air, Vapormax, etc etc. Boost was one of the more impactful creations, but it wasn't nearly as impactful as Nike Air and all the improvements and modifications to that.
