New subby here. Interesting vid. I guess every little improvement is worth having. I to have a Gold monster and totally agree with the noise it puts out. I’m still yet to find gold with it though. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for the sub! I know someone who found a 3 oz nugget the other day with his GM. Persist and it will come. Good luck.

Are these true test results? I would have thought you would test the machine with the bits of gold actually buried in soil at varying depths.
@metaldetectingfun7 ай бұрын
Yes I agree that to fully test the detector the nuggets should be buried however this was not a test to see how deep the detector would sense the nuggets but rather a before and after test on the same nuggets in the same conditions. Thanks for your comment and for watching.

Hi - was yours the Monster woody had that didnt have the centre button Auto Ground Balance - mines a 2019 unit that's got it - Minelab told me of this hack when that pump technique was driving me nuts now on hot ground I hold coil on ground press hold - the coil logo blinks then beeps and is very quiet - GM is a great pinpointer when you find a target with Z and you want to discriminate non ferrous or Rust crap lol
@metaldetectingfun7 ай бұрын
We sent Woody 2 detectors. One was older and didn't have the center GB option and the other one did have it. I also use it as a pin pointer sometimes. Also helps when I need to find out is a target is ferrous or not. Thanks for your comment.

@@metaldetectingfun thanks for getting back to me with your reply. Based on the information you provided I cant really see what your testing achieved. Thanks. Gary.
@royjohnson4657 ай бұрын
@@garykallasmae997 ~ would say his testing achieved to show that the Monster is deeper with Woody’s mods than without the mods is the reason why.

You need to get out with someone to show you. When I first started I wanted to smash it around a tree. When I worked out the gold signals.....away I went....and never looked back....traded up and up...we know use a 6000 and monster.

Keep in mind any modifications you do on a new machine and you’re going to void your warranty. May not be worth it for that extra distance if something goes wrong with your machine and you’re buying a new one out-of-pocket. if your machines warranty date is passed then that’s a different story.
