What are the biggest mistakes you have seen other Prospectors make in the field when looking for Gold and how would you fix it To learn more on how to be successful finding Gold , watch this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJDWgKKGn7emotU and smash that like button...SMAS it HARD !!!!!!
@horseducks3 ай бұрын
I can't speak for others, but the biggest mistake I can make is overdoing it physically. I'm 65, I suffer from various arthritic and tendon issues, and I pan at 7500 feet in Colorado. I'm good for about 3 hours, and then it's time to cleanup. My advice is to stay hydrated and keep putting those electrolytes into your system while working.

They'll go and buy a Gold Detector and sweep and dig in areas not even remotely close to bearing Gold -50% mineralization in the land. Solution is to buy a Jeff Williams Ear Detector(Can hear the hum frequency of Gold with location precision) I live out in Gold Hill, Oregon. Often visit Gold Nugget Wayside here or some place along the Rogue River. Been off and on with prospecting. Off and on with the bills even pawning all my equipment. Have all my equipment back and my bills are good. Planning to visit the Al Serena Mine (Buzzard Mine) Oregon (Been motorcycle riding there) Let me tell you, Oregon is absolutely a wonderous anomaly when it comes to a prospectors life.

hey jeff I am glad to see you again in another program of geology. In the altruized granites, various feldspars have been transformed into argillics such as kaolin or illite, and in this cycle, the sulfides that are leached are trapped as polyvalent iron and gold in the kaolin barrier. Coarse nuggets are the recirculation of fluids that accumulate gold in kaolin and can be seen in beautiful gold nugget shapes.

So Jeff 9 years ago I found my first small gold nugget using my dry washer ran five buckets through the dry washer and the fan blower squirrel cage blew up I was up very upset it was a 4-Hour drive from salt lake took the concentrates that I had went back to the hotel and paned it out. And bam first gold nugget small but it made my day. Then the next day I got some breakfast at Denny's in Ely. Put 20 bucks in a slot machine 1,000 bucks. Haha then I went to Ace hardware in town and bought a weed blower and use that for my dry washer and finished off my trip.

I know what the rumors are about the gold to silver ratio, but I wanted to ask you as an expert, how much silver do you find in a ratio to the gold that you find? Have you ever found silver in the Home Depot sand? And what do you think the ratio is of gold to silver that you mine? Thank you for your videos and your knowledge.

each area is different and we have some hard rock mines that have a ratio of 1 ounce of Gold to 1/2 ounce Silver

That was a very resourceful, educational and the most interesting video I have ever seen you provide. When you gave explanation of how gold travels and get stuck or trapped in certain areas, it reminds me of a giant earth sluice box. If it’s smooth it rolls if there’s obstacles greater chance of it getting trapped.

Take clean 400+ mesh gold, all the way up to pickers, and drop them in clean water with jet dry into a glass jar. From the side, film how fast the gold drops. That will show us exactly how it behaves in water and how carefully we need to pan. Yes, dirty water will make a difference, but it'll be a good baseline. Just a video idea Jeff

Running bucket by bucket paying attention to the show-me mat then playing hotter-colder helps move less and get more. You then learn exactly what different deposits are made of. Then you can easily repeat elsewhere. Another thing is wasting time classifying material. I can slam buckets through a foldable sluice and rarely get more than residue gold in lower mat. In other words let her rip! Trommel is best but not always workable. Thanks Jeff!

Good morning sir Williams ! Lots of great stuff in your videos. Why are the holes in the Garrett classifyer so large if all the gold you find is tiny pcs.? I know you wouldnt do that in your mine because you do have large nuggets. In streems in gold producing areas your chances of finding a 1/4 " nugget are slim to none and slim left town
@johnramirez5032Ай бұрын
I answered my question about 1/4in classification. Its the quickest way to prospect for gold. It is not about gettin all the gold out. Ive gone to gold producing areas and i alway find a piece or two....of thirty pieces per pan. Ive never had the time to do it as much as ive wanted to. Now im old and sont have the drive to. Yes gold fever is real and it can ruin a person. Do be aware of that. Go out and have some fun. Just being in nature has its own rewards. Head Jeff Williams warnings too.

Google earth etc. please give me your blessing and a word of advice. I’m making sure I’m not encroaching and staying away from private property. Thinking of Hoyt’s crossing in Yuba I believe but yea, last time I went to the Stanislaus forest, I almost got stuck on this muddy road if it wasn’t for the good Lord allowing me to make it out. I was near soldier creek Berkeley campground ⛺️ if I remember middle toulumne river but was freezing so that was more of a views and sight seeing trip. Hopefully I’m more ready and able to stay longer. Plus my dog (pit/rott) mix jumped into my lap on my way there and almost got us killed so after a full day we went back home. Felt I should go alone less to worry about, but will be taking a neighbor with me. Some people on Reddit are in my neighborhood and willing to prospect and are into the history too.
