About to finance a Stealth. I pay $115 for car insurance every month and I'm tired of it. My city is based around a university so there are plenty of ways to get around on a board. Thanks for the video. This reaffirmed what Boosted suggested to me.

I installed the risers that came with the extended range battery for my V2 dual+ and they make the board feel so much safer and more stable. The plus and stealth already have those risers installed. I have a vids on my channel about my boosted board. They really make a difference!

I have never been to NYC and I love longboarding! Are the streets really smooth? I live in Vermont and the seasons are really hard on the pavement here so there are lots of cracks in the road. To safely travel anywhere on a longboard here you almost have to walk through and look for hazards first. I have taken many bad falls due to poor road conditions. It looks like you guys don’t have any problems with that! I would love to cruise NYC someday

I have over 5000 miles on my Boosted Board! [I'm 6' 3", 244lbs, and carry a 26lb backpack with rain gear, and other stuff.] I changed the wheels and bearings once. I swapped a standard battery once because sidewalk vibrations rubbed it's cable to the point of failure. The next battery, I pre-covered the cable with duct tape. That prevented it. The only issue I have with boosted board, is that they went bankrupt.

If your looking for a commuter board look at Fabian Doering 's board that is about to come out. It has replaceable batteries and is basically a normal skateboard. The Boosted mini s seems to be a little to heavy for a true commuter board

I'm getting the Mini X for college. I bought a longboard last year and carrying something that long in between classes is not that fun. That and my schedule for next semester has back to back classes that are on opposite ends of campus, so I can somewhat justify getting it.
