Your channel is the SH!t. I appreciate the detail that you go into when upgrading/working on the ACR. Very very helpful. I'm going to be getting an 01/02 Viper ACR pretty soon, and I plan to get in there and work on it. I would love to pick your brain in the future if I have questions!

StarKiller Armory thanks for the positive feedback brother! Not much viper content online so trying my best to cover the mods in doing. Doesn't seem to be much interest in this damn car though! If this was a corvette I would probably have thousands of views by now lol

Boosted2k No problem man! Keep up the good work. I love your vids. I've always dreamed of owning a Viper, which should be a reality within a year, but I never knew they were so serviceable. You also sound like you definitely know what you're doing. Mechanic by trade? I look forward to whatever other Viper videos you post. On a related note, I've been lurking around the Viper Club forums, and I have to say... Holy crap. Some of those guys are DICKS for zero reason whatsoever. Kinda makes me disappointed in the Viper Club as a whole for not nipping that kind of behavior in the bud. There isn't anything wrong with your videos or the music in them. I actually enjoy the music. Ignore the haters. Especially "Free2go". That guy seems like a total douche. Peace brother.

Boosted2k I'm sure if it was a Vette there would be more interest because they make like 30k of those per year. Gag. Aren't there only like 30k Vipers in existence? I've seen far more Lambos and Ferraris than Vipers. There isn't more interest because the layperson doesn't know how fracking badass Vipers are. None of that techno bull crap, all cubic inches and balls.

StarKiller Armory lol I'm guessing that's probably in ViperAlley. I don't go on that forum anymore just cause it's like a cult of old grumpy men. I used to work at a speed shop where we build pro-street and ez-street race cars and also modded street vehicles as well. Had a 700hp s2000 before this that I build which explains the name on here still lol. Check out driveviper.com they are pretty cool over there for the most part. More content on the way once I get this stupid steering rack back again

StarKiller Armory Yeah I hear ya! I'm still debating a z06 for a daily driver and to beat on the track since they are much cheaper to maintain and replace parts. Too many vehicle at the moment lol

If you're just changing out the isolator with the IPSCO lowering kit for shift knobs, do you still need to drill out the rivets or can you change it without having to do this?

hello boosted. thank you so much for the reply. on the bushing that you got from ebay, do you know the exact part number on it? also the shift lowering link, how many inches did you get? 1 or 2? I might still holes onto the ash tray. it's easier. but on the transmission seals and cross brace. do I really need that?
@BoostedMotorsports8 жыл бұрын
Hey did you ever get it sorted out? Just seeing this now. Let me know if you still need the part numbers! You don't really need the cross brace and poly trans mount but it just adds to giving you a more solid and precise shift. I did it since I was in there anyways! :) Let me know if you have any other questions I would be more than happy to help!

BoostedMotorsports do you have that bushing part #? Just ordered all this from ipsco for my 00.

Did you ever do a review? Got link?
@BoostedMotorsports5 жыл бұрын
Not yet but I can do a follow up vid on the mods soon!
does it come complete with all those items you have?
@BoostedMotorsports8 жыл бұрын
The short throw shifter comes with the RTV silicone and the 4 longer bolts needed. You can install it just just like this if you want to re-use the OEM isolator and have the shift knob at the same height. The shift lowering kit is separate. The billet aluminum cross brace comes with the energy suspension poly urethane mount and the hardware. Let me know if you have any other questions!

hi ...keep up the good work ....can you give me the link on where to purchase the bushing that lowers in the transmission for 2009 viper .. .Thanks@@BoostedMotorsports

what kind of short throw shifter is that brand?
@BoostedMotorsports8 жыл бұрын
It's an IPSCO. Most of the products I installed in this particular video are all from IPSCO. They make a lot of great stuff for the Viper check out there parts at www.ipsco.org/Viper.htm
