Supercharged Dodge Dakota R/T Gets SMALLER PULLEY

The Supercharged Dodge Dakota R/T Pickup truck project gets a smaller pulley in this video to produce MORE BOOST from the p1sc procharger supercharger. We are trying to get as much horsepower as we can out of this 5.9L v8 Magnum mopar engine and forced induction is how we are getting it done. We hit over 10psi today on this new setup but we aren't done yet as we continue this build on the project truck to get the Dakota to the race track where we try to compete with modern muscle and the high hp they produce!

maybe put something for extra grip like pvc black or ultra blue etc for grip under the clamps,so it wont be so slick an keep coming off...

Nice like to see it making boost now...to bad you're getting rid of the a/c still a nice cruiser also don't need swamp ass waiting in line to run or in traffic...then end up with a truck full of tree air fresheners. Cause it smells like 8 cans of shark shit.....oh and by the way on the radio wiring harness there is a green with a red runner on it on the truck side harness if you put the power antenna or remote on blue wire from head unit it will turn factory amp on...I bought the harness kit you did and couldn't find the diagram you had so did some wire chasing and figured it out just an FYI got mine up and going with the Alpine head unit with blue tooth....Bing bang boom shaaka laakka!...👌👍✌️

You might be getting some blowby. Is the PCV valve hose tied into the blower line? If you have a PCV valve, might want to install a catch can since the motor does have some age on it. Can't go wrong with one installed. Another great video and a new day with boost.

Love it keep plugging along, however keep those VC's for rocker clearance they are on back order IIRC everywhere. Just get AN fittings welded on. You are going to an all AN style anyways eventually I'm about to do the same thing.

how many miles does this truck show is on it,most are pretty high mileage when bought used ,let us know,an thanx...mine has 94,000 since new in 2002,we got it in 06 with about 43,000 miles..never tuned,no spark plugs, got new k an n filter an run premium allways an made a big difference, timing advanced with hypertech chip maybe the guy said..............

Put a TKO 6 speed trans in it and a set of aluminum heads. Drop the compression and do 20-25psi! Maybe some spray of you're feeling froggy.

are the internals of that motor stock? when I was researching boost options and safety limits for my 5.9 magnum everyone was acting as if these motors are fragile hand grenades above 5psi of boost when the insides are left stock...

I've had 7 of that era of rams, with the 318/360s. And beat the shit out of them. And they were beat before me lol. They are just like the older 350s lol. Just those 46re I've always had issues with Converters and burnt up a few trans. Im sure 5psi will be fine 👍
