Hey Jon looks great...yea some LKQ sites are run by people who don't give a shit about how they sell stuff... it's a pay check to them no pride non professional,talk to you like you don't know what you are talking about and act like you are bothering them...the one in my area I worked at before it was owed by them...I have dismantled top of the line cars... Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes Benz, BMW, vipers ECT....I called for a part and went to pick it up and allowed the sales guy to talk down to me for a few minutes then let him have it and asked for his manager...just so happens I trained this manager on everything salvage yard when he worked there on co op from trade school...... needless to say that salesman don't work there anymore..but unfortunately that's the way it's going till people start holding them accountable....now the TRX has paddle shifters so if you put a hellcat steering wheel in it I am wondering what it would take to make them work 🤔...I know there is a salvage yard on eBay that was selling parts from a TRX wonder if you could buy the harnesses if they still have the truck and have the right plugs and features ya know like cooling fans or swap out a challenger harness instead of a charger????

great 👍 work I swap out my seats today in my 1998 jeep zj 5.9 limited the seats I got the guy cut up the seat track so I had swap the track as well bit of a pain it's easy just time consuming lol

Thanks for the vid, dropped mine in yesterday. Question. Is the 2nd smaller plug that comes out the side of the console, is that for the outlet on the back of the console, and is there a receiver plug for it possibly tucked under the carpet? Or would I have to get an extension to run from the white plug on the left side under the radio to the back under the carpet to the side of the console? Assuming here. lol. I have done this mod 4 times , all on 2500’s also installing a center console shifter on the 2500’s is a nice addition! Not sure why Ram never did it from the factory !

When your swapping to a center console do you need any addition wires or do all the wires go into place like normal?

@@davidabstance6482 you will need a shifter wiring harness if your removing the shifter from the column also the cover on the steering column . Most of the time you will need an a/c duct extension that connect the vents in the console . Also the bezel around the radio on the dash all needs to be changed as well .

There is already a wiring harness under the carpet that plugs into the console to supply 12v power . You will also have to cut the carpet out under the console .

You didn't show how to get the center arm rest out. I want to get to the wiring that runs under it to the cigar lighter in the back seat. There are four screws at the top, 2 on each side, but it still doesn't move.

This conversion should be the opposite. Center consoles are pointless cinder blocks between you and your girlfriend. There's this thing called a column shifter and the jump seat folds down into cup holders.
