Thanks Paul! I sure am pumped man, been waiting my entire life to have my own garage, I am tired of working in my little shed or out in driveways or using other peoples garages to do my work. Now I’ll finally be able to work on what I want, when I want! Thanks for sticking around, hope your doing well!

@@garymonsarratt6048 Hi Gary, ya I'm good. Might come back as a zombie next year 😂 You are right about the BX, especially this time of year. Must be the orange. Happy Halloween 🎃

Thanks Ross, the drains are gonna be nice for sure, I plan to wash all my equipment off in there including my tractor and truck so I wanted a nice floor drain to handle the water, I also added two 1.5” drains, one for a slop sink and another for a possible urinal some day in the future.

I never got a chance to saw cut the floor.. thankfully there is no cracks yet and it shoulda been done right away.. I have to do it soon but Iv had all my insulation in the way so Iv been busting My butt trying to get the insulation hung so that I can saw cut the floor joints before it’s too late and it starts cracking. Sorry if you already mentioned it, but how big is your shop and what was the cost?? I would love one just like that for myself. I enjoy the content. Keep it up !
@BiffsEquipment Жыл бұрын
Thanks Nick! So the garage is a 24x32x14 and it all said I’m done from start to absolute finish it’s costed me about 28k give or take a couple of G’s. Last time I tallied everything up that’s about what I had into it .. which isn’t too bad considering the inflation was at an all time high pretty much when I built it.
@joem4746 Жыл бұрын
Great build! Enjoy all of your content . Just curious, what did the concrete run you if you don’t mind? I’m a few hours south of you and planning a 30x40x14 pole barn build, probably start it in the spring.
@Ron-ds2ob2 жыл бұрын
Nice job Mike. I was worried about you with no new content for a month. You going to go with spray foam for the insulation? It costs more, but well worth it to help stop condensation when you heat it. If so, I have a guy, just contact me. You are going to love the extra space compared to the shed.
@BiffsEquipment2 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks Ron! Yah I had a feeling people were starting to think I was dead! Haha. Glad I could finally get you guys caught up. Email me at mbifaro@gmail.com so we can exchange phone numbers or just message me on Facebook cuz I forget what your name is on Facebook messenger so I can have your buddy give me a quote. I already got one quote for spray foam but they wanted like $6000-$6500! I don’t have that kinda money .. there’s just no way.. so I was gonna use foam board for this year that I can find used on auctions sites. Let me know what your buddy says or have him reach out!

Definitely worth waiting for and did you actually get to park the BX inside for it's first overnight. I noticed the little guy helping out with the raking of the gravel. Is that your boy and if so I remember when all my little guy wanted to do was be with and help his Dad. I sure hope we get to see more and not have to wait quite as long as we did for part 4. I know you said you've been super busy. As a retired Cop I sure hope you have looked into some good Security System. My brother lost some tools in his pole barn when a kid cut a hole through the metal siding and simply walked in and helped himself. The kid got caught when he tried to sell my brothers tools but after that he added rebar in some of the walls and put cameras and motion sensors inside and out. It looks great so far.
@BiffsEquipment2 жыл бұрын
Thanks man! I appreciate you sticking around and showing support, its been a heck of a project but I can finally start seeing the end of the tunnel now! As for the kid that’s my buddys son. He’s a good kid. As doe an intruder breaking in, I like that idea of adding rebar! I may just have to do that! Hope all is well!
@kagnewmp122 жыл бұрын
@@BiffsEquipment The rebar just makes it much harder because that metal siding only needs a drill hole big enough to get a Sawzall blade into. A good quality motion sensor alarm system will let you know what's going on plus a couple of driveway alarms out of site are the best. You have a huge investment that's worth protecting from the A@#H*&%S that would try and steal it from you and it happens everyday in this country no matter where you live. I only wish I could set my perimeter security like it was in Viet Nam cause a thief would not walk away.

Scaffolding would have made things alot easier.(faster less up and down on the ladders) great job Biff. 👍😊
@BiffsEquipment2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Allen! We did have some scaffolding there when we did the roof, well it was more of a ladder pick but it worked awesome! The ladders aren’t hard to move unlike scaffolding but your right about it killing your legs from all the up and downs!

Beautiful Work Shop, And you made it just in time for winter . The center drain is a nice touch. Color matches the house . All that's left is running the power. You thinking about heating it ??? {wood burner} maybe.... VERY NICE MIKE

That’s what I originally bought that big heater for a few years ago knowing that some day I’d build a large garage to put it in. Thanks for sticking around and the support!

Some people have very tight budgets. Its hard enough trying to build anything today. They make do with what they have to work with at the time. Give the guy a break for christ sakes. I`m sure Mike will gather what he needs later on. Right now he NEEDS this shop done, winter is closing in fast.
