BOOSTING my 300zx KA24de! Artec + Garrett G30-660

I am beyond excited to add some well deserved power to my 300zx z32 project car with a ka24de swap. I decided to save up and buy quality parts I knew I could trust, even though the ka24de is from the junkyard and bone stock.. I decided to coat the Artec ka24de exhaust manifold in a shiny silver. I did not want to deal with traditional 4 bolt turbo set ups, so I chose a Garrett G30 660 turbo. Zack was able to fabricate the intercooler and piping with no issue. The intercooler utilizes vein within the hot side end tank that help evenly guide air flow. Will we get the car done in time for the event?!

And just to think that one and a half year ago, this car was just a shell. Fast forward to today, the day of boosting it up has finally arrived. Good luck on the drift event, bro. And good for you for not doing this modification in a rush. You can't rush art, after all. As for the 240sx, my opinion (which, don't get me wrong, it's just an opinion and if you dislike it, I don't mind at all. It's your car, your rules.) is that instead of cutting these perfectly good door bars, you should try to install racecar style door cards, which is basically a flat piece that covers the door leaving only the door handle. As for the existing door cards, I think they would make for a nice garage decoration. And a rear bash bar would also look cool instead of a rear bumper. Once again good luck and stay safe out there.

Aluminum door panels are also an option and may look cleaner than having the stock ones cut in half, wrap it in some alcantara or something and it'd look pretty sweet

Not a big fan of aluminium. Other option i saw on many old cars are sheets of ABS plastic. They are light, cheap and already have texture. And look way cleaner than aluminium
