Its funny I have owned my other one since high school and just in the last year I have actually started to be noticed by people who don't also own one......and its actually happened a lot. I have even been to a couple meets beside a few MKIV buddies and think I might have got more attention than they did which blows my mind, has never been that way. I love these cars and won't let either go

@@chaggitto I love the way it looks and the light output is pretty decent now that I have it dialed in. But the the pattern and cutoff is nowhere near what a projector or newer drop in 5x7 led housing can deliver. It also takes a bit of custom fabrication to get the linkage to operate correctly and at the proper height. I'm trying to refine it a bit and find some off the shelf pieces that people can use instead.

Haha, I know the A70 has not been getting the love it deserves on the channel, well I actually have two so the 89 is really getting the shaft and hasn't even made an appearance yet. Nice video dude! It's not that we can do much but donuts in snow in our Supra's though :D Once I had to back out of a parking lot. Put in reverse and nothing but wheel slip. Had to leave it in reverse wheels turning in idle more or less then pull it out manually :D Next thing i had to get out of the parking lot. It happened sideways, completely. I then get around a corner and oncoming car forces me into deep snow. Into reverse, pull it out by pulling the B-pillar. Get to the bigger roads see snow everywhere. I figured, it was not time to sacrifice my car yet and I did a 180 and parked the car :p

Paint is actually original on this one along with the interior etc. At the time a 2j swap ran about 6-10K this one being on the higher end of that going standalone, single turbo etc. Now unfortunately engine prices are through the roof

They are retrofitted light bars from VisionX. The mounts and arms have been modified to get the range of motion to work correctly.

Honestly right now you have to look far and wide for one that is reasonably pricy. Unfortunately due to shipping issues and them starting to dry up in Japan the price is about 4x what they were when this car was built.

Yooo did the grill come off on the passenger turn signal? I just put euros on mine and lost the freaking grill on the same side smh!!! Rather that then the turn signal lol

It actually fell out in the middle of the video, pretty sure its in some shots and then disappears if you look close 😆 Luckily I saw it and picked it up before doing another lap over it. Even if I have good clips I always put a fender washer on the screw on the back as a safety measure. In this case I had it out to swap in led bulbs and just set it back in for a picture since it was winter and USUALLY the car is tucked away for a few months.........
