Bootleg Mafex Brown Suit Wolverine By CT Toys

I have several CT Toys figures. The Mafex Symbiot Spidey, the Spidey you have here, Agent Venom and I have this guy and Agent Anti Venom coming in tomorrow … and I’m just gonna say it. I don’t view CT as a Bootleg company anymore. I see them more as 3rd party in the lines of Demonical Fit with Dragonball Z. They’re just SO well done that calling them a bootleg almost seems like a disservice hahaha. Great review, look forward to getting mine tomorrow.

the flesh under the arms is apart of the style of the brown suit sometimes and its on the actual mafex

Thank you for taking the time to review the figure. I also thank you for the very clear, sharp images, and video. Camera doing its job! Question for you, if I may, at certain points I saw the belt looked like it had some give to it. Do you think the belt is swappable? It looks glued on, and not sculpted on. I'd love to pick the figure up, and give him another belt.

Just so you know those paint problems you pointed out are actually like that on the mafex besides that yellow but the shading and the flesh tone paint on the side is bc the og had it unfortunately

Being in the UK you probably have the same issue with Mafex that I do.....here in Canada this figure.....aside from being scarce.....was $140.....and there just isn't the value there for me at that price....so a bootleg version at $32 was very welcome I just got this guy in the post today and I am pleasantly surprised great figure and there is no difference in finish or quality from my other Mafex figures CT definitely won me over

Got my brown suit. I thought their Venom was great, Wolverine knocked it out of the park. Even the plastic feels like Mafex and I have 8 Mafex figs.

The issue I have is the joints on both arms where the elbows are are super loose falling out almost so I don’t know if it’s like that on all of them probably just me

Best Wolverine ever, the problems with Hasbro's is that they have huge heads (Sabretooth, Cyclops, etc), a weird mania of them, the shoulders are too low/little shoulders, and the worst part is that they wanna apply this "metrosexual" look from the 2000s/nowadays to figures that must recreate the 90s look, and in this case (Mafex), they do it almost perfectly. By the way, Hasbro also suffers from painting issues, like, a lot. Don't know why Mafex figures cost like they do, don't even care, when they're still a piece of plastic, CT Toys' figures prove that you can still have an amazing looking figure for almost 25usd, good designs shouldn't cost more just for that, and i hope CT Toys will start making the other X Men figures right now, or Mafex lowen their prizes, whatever comes first, CHRISTUS VINCIT, CHRISTUS IMPERAT. DEUS BENEDICAT TIBI.

stop making excuse because its a bootlet, you just got a bad batch. also stop praising the sculpt of a bootlet, the sculpt is from the original, refer to is as the mold instead, this is not like the cloth myth bootleg where they actually make new molds and shit better than bandai and fix their sculpting mistakes lol.
