He's practically the reason the show seems so burnt out lately. What the show desperately needs is to get it's teeth back. To show the world why it was an icon of the 90's for a reason. Of course with Disney now owning the series, that'll likely never happen. It may even subjected to a worse fate than the early 2000's era of the show when it was producing episodes like Homer Vs Dignity.
