I really am glad you told us about this company. I actually prefer 24.75” scale length. Short scales are generally much easier to play for many reasons. Glad to know there’s a company out there that doesn’t feel obligated to make Strats, Teles, and other Fender shapes with the same 25.5” scale. I love what they did with their new warehouse. Just a really great concept with great guitars, from what it seems! If you’re able, please support this company!

Bootlegger Guitars are the result of all the best features from several models of guitars that are mainstream available but smashed up in a Mad Scientist way that just works phenomenally. This particular model has my interests peaked and I would probably do some modding of my own to elaborate on the already cool tonal options but even as it sits there are very few instruments in this price range that are offering this build quality with a hard-shell case included.

Regardless of the style of the guitar, the biggest advantage to these Bootlegger models is, every single one includes a complete set up. And they do whatevers nessessary to make them play right. Thats just not the case with any imported brands i know of? I've heard certain brands supposedly go over them when they hit the states, but nothing to the extent of what Bootlegger does.

This is one of the more impressive guitars for being versatile for the many sounds you could pull out of this guitar....could be a real work horse use for anything guitar for most gigs...except for high gain and metal styles of music...amazing value!!!

The one feature I LOVE about the guitar is that the headstock tapers at the top and the strings run straighter to the tuning pegs, meaning much greater tuning stability than that other "G" brand. And it sounds amazing!

Very cool, versatile guitar! I like to see companies using their imagination a little bit for a change. Since you’re asking, I think a P90 in the neck position would make this guitar even cooler. Otherwise, it’s damn nice as-is. Nice playing in your demo, as well!

Awesome video Max, amazing playing as always on a non traditional tele. Have you heard about Dean asking the courts to appeal the Explorer and Flying V decision saying about how at this point they are just generic and not trademark-able shapes so they should be allowed to continue to make them once again.

Max, loved the review, but I was really wanting to hear the coil split along with the bridge and middle pickup, and the middle and neck pickup... and of course with the clean, moderate gain, and high gain settings as well.

The headstock kinda throws me off a little. Used to seeing 6 tuners in line. But they are doing things different. The sound is awesome.

I want someone to do a thinline that has a radiused top to it's not so squared off and would serve well for reducing weight and additionally would have an 'armrest carve' and 'belly carve' to it.

I like the look of that guitar. I was hoping you would talk more on the spec’s of the neck and what the body is made of. How does it compare to the EART guitar? I have one of them. It’s ok but I’m not a trem guy

By the headstock and switching, it's a Mitchell, maybe made by Samick. And that flat fretboard end screams "budget" to put it nicely.

Wow .. cool. Pickup set up like Alvin Lee's Big Red. I realize you probably don't know who Alvin Lee is. But he used a 2 humbucking with a single coil in the middle as well. And got amazing sounds from it.
