Don't want to put anyone in a bad spot but I'm a little interested in the Halloween 1 + 2 bluray.. I apologize if this is the wrong place to request where to find that but I've done some searching with very little luck. Huge fan of the franchise. Again, will happily delete comment if need be. Thanks for any info in advance! Excellent upload!

The only boot I bought was of the complete Batman the animated series set. It was a false advertisement so I got my money back and sent the bootleg back. I always hate having to watch out for these things with so many people trying to make profit off people.

Especially when they get SO expensive still! Agreed!

One of the reasons I've never bought bootlegs on movies that haven't been released is because it can hinder studios releasing the movie. They might decide not to release it because profits might not be good do to the bootlegs being sold. One is example is bootlegs of John Woo films or other Hong Kong action films.
@TheDiscConnected3 жыл бұрын
A very good point. I could see this being the reason certain films like panic room has been delayed.

@@TheDiscConnected me personally with how good 88films, Eureka do Hong Kong films I would rather they release it then put out bootlegs, even if the quality is good.

@@TheDiscConnected I'd say some of the movies are very expensive to license so I get why they wouldnt want to compete with a bootleg seller and lose money.

Another useful informative video. Thanks. On the subject of bootlegs. I never torrent anything that is readily available to the consumer. But I do grab films unavailable elsewhere. Most of the time it is because of the availability of custom fan subs. I literally have 35 TB's of films from around the world without subs because I believe all films need to be preserved. I do try to replace films as they become available. There will always be films that never make it to physical media so if you want to see them often without subs there is no other way. I am in it to see as much as possible and not for the possiblity of making some money. I missed out on the Disney treasure collection and the inflated after market has put it out of my reach that gap in my library will always haunt me.

SAME. I still can’t believe how much they go for on the secondhand market.

I sometimes torrent movies to see if I'll enjoy it and if i do, ill try and buy the physical copy whenever. As i buy physical media and have plenty of movies and still counting.
@TheDiscConnected11 ай бұрын
Not a big fan of that overall but with some films, it’s really the only way. Studios need to give up rights to some of their films, plain and simple.
@arronharrington410911 ай бұрын
@@TheDiscConnected yeah it's pretty frustrating that some are streaming exclusive. But thankfully most stuff I care about has a physical release.

I would just like to point out that a burned disc (blue) is not necessarily a boot as there are MOD from major label or burned legit discs such as Gold Ninja Video does. I've been tempted on boots of old Japanese films but I don't buy boots out of personal principles. What I don't like is when labels don't say the discs are burned. Looking at you VCI !!!

@TheDiscConnected3 жыл бұрын
Well- I wouldn’t say suing, it very well could have been a cease and desist. But it likely has everything to do with Universal. Thankfully, it’s a different type of situation.
