Timberland is a huge corporation but also has one of the most eco-conscious range of products. This is their Original Earthkeepers introduced in 2007 and using a majority of recycled materials in their sole construction, lining and even laces. While made of many panels like Frankenstein's Monster, it has an interesting rugged vibe and is kind to the world.

Who Am I?
I am a Management Consultant in real life but in my Bootlosophy channel, I make videos about boots and all things boot related. This channel posts reviews of boots, unboxing of new boots, and follow up reviews, and in doing so, may explore the philosophy of the brands from time to time!
I have owned boots for decades, but to be honest I have owned them as functional pieces of footwear. It wasn't until early 2020 when COVID struck that I started online shopping boots to an obsessive degree. I love the aesthetic of boots and I love finding out more about how they are made. I now own an insane number of boots, and one day I may sell some of them (just not right now).

Awesome review! Love listening to all of the knowledge you provide on these boots- from the manufacturer's history to the boots themselves. These Earthkeepers are actually my first step into the world of boots- I usually wear vans/converse, and these Earthkeepers are a super comfortable boot- they feel just like my high tops! The only thing I would add to your review: the loops on the heel are super helpful to slide the laces through- its a common style here in the US to loop your laces around the shaft of the boot and tie them off at the front like normal. Keep the videos coming! I'd love to see more about boots at this price point for people like me who are just getting into buying boots and are cost-conscious.

Very nice review! I just got these and it’s extremely soft as you say. The sizing is important like you say. Order 1/2 minimum size under your usual size. I ordered 1 full size lower and it still has room. I could go even lower but I’m satisfied with 1 size down. Very comfortable as you say! Great video!

I absolutely agree with this comment. My true to size sizing is 11 1/2, I prefer my sneakers, such as nike or new balance, in 12s. My earth keepers are 10s , if they were 10 1/2... It would be to snug.

I got lucky and found a pair at Goodwill for 20.00 bucks. It's almost new. The thing is people call them Frankenstein boot looking, but if you really look at moc toe boots, they really look more like Frankenstein boots, especially in black . With timberlands you do have to go down a full size that seems to be the main problem with the brand I wear a size 9.5 the boots I bought are a 9 but fit like a 10 so I have to add extra insoles and thick socks other than that great boots very comfortable. I like this gentleman he's very through with the history of different brands and styles

I got a pair of these for $50 new back in the day. Never get a leather boot for that cheap now. I Wish I had kept them and resoled them with a leather midsole. Used them for hiking and every day wear.

amazing review..i just got my 1st Timberland (Briton X Harris Tweed) a few days ago & loving them.. Im flat footed 112 kg with 5'9 height..When I first wear them my 1st impression was "the boots wont support my balance as much as my other goodyear welted boots". But after putting them on & walked for a few hours then somehow its felt comfortable & Ok.. Just to share that i had my Bariatric Surgery 6 months ago & i had lost 39 kg so far.. when i was at 151kg (pre surgery) & i have gout & arthritis then. The only boots that im comfortable wearing for all day long are only boots from these 2 brands - Truman & Trickers.. I own a few Loakes, Carlos Santos, Edward Greens, Helms & Wolverine s & almost all of them been torturing me then.. Now my heath improving significantly & im enjoying Timbs without worrying that my arthritis will bother me 😂

Cool shoe! I definitely like it more then the traditional nubuck timberland but most because im tired of seeing them all my life. I live in Massachusetts and theyve been popular all my life 😂 But these look neat. Its just strange since theyre almost a work boot but not so durable to make a great boot. They definitely look like a work boot though. Interesting design nonetheless and great review 😊

I have a pair that I got over 10 years ago. I virtually never wear them anymore, but the best way to describe them is a sneaker disguised as a boot. They fit/wear like a large high top sneaker. They are way too flimsy to be a real boot.

I bought several pairs of Timberlands in my youth, but the quality seems to be lacking nowadays....at least in America. Do you guys get better quality Timberlands in Australia? They do look quite nice

Unfortunately I think since the late 90s when they really went into “streetwear” their quality has been hit and miss. Probably due to their massive world expansion. But I’ve been very lucky with my boots from them.

I had tried on the boots as shown on the video. The timberland shop assistance bought under staff price for his own wear. I was very impressed n very comfortable initially when i tried on in the timberland shop n almost bought it. One day i passed by the clobber n saw the the timberland model sent for repair. I asked the clobber whats the problem with the boots? He replied the mid rubber sole separated. I decided not to buy due the poor quality.
