A couple things of note 1. Leadership at all levels is important. Even if you're not the actual team/squad leader, you need to be looking out for the guys around you, which I saw with you guiding R3. SL/TL's eyes aren't everywhere 2. It looks like the warm parts of winter? It's wet and muddy with brown winter grass. Brown/FDE/tan is effective in this season in these types of woodland areas, not just green 3. Semi-critique here: I would have is being comfortable with danger areas (eg. giant open fields) but I also wasn't there. All I know is what's on screen. Speed vs security, and other considerations means it's not really up to me to make that call over a screen (although honestly at 11:30 I would've stayed in a column and hugged that brush line rather than going in a wedge all down that clearing) 4. Vitality of magnified optics! Can't see shit in that kind of brush. Let's say you had another team on your flank who came into contact. How would one support them, if they can't find the enemy (God forbid mistaking blue for red)? (Obviously you had an LPVO, talking to the 'muh irons' guys) 5. All things considered, having a phone on is a good thing as safety is a primary concern. But things like alarms/silent mode is one thing to check for PCC's 6. Real critique: On the approach to the house I would've bounded by pairs. Or, a bumrush across the clearing (speed *is* security). Granted, not much concealment around the clearing to determine the fastest route for a bumrush. Traveling overwatch through a danger area on approach to a fortified position, IMO, is a no-go. R3 also turned around to face you to give a hand/arm signal instead of keeping his weapon towards the massive, immediate unknown. At such immediacy, you falling in behind is self evident and the hand/arm is unnecessary. Were those windows in play? A lot of standing in front of them. Daytime outside, lights off inside, means they can aim at you with impunity and open fire at leisure. No one should be standing, all crawling to conceal from defenders inside. Night vision: seems oper8or to use NV in daytime, but it's legit. Using WML's as constant illumination compromises you from far beyond direct sight (around doorways, under doors, spilling down hallways...). Minor bit: at 36:00 take advantage of being in a bathroom and peek under the stalls before clearing. I know it's the first time in that building, just saying for next time. Also be mindful of voice. A wired out infantryman hiding in a room is going to hear the mice fuck, let along guys verbally communicating, jiggling doors, stomping around, etc. *Not to say I don't believe any of this was in a later AAR or in your second run-through*. Just my observations watching it.

PULLED PORK MAC AND CHEESE 1 pound uncooked large elbow pasta ½ cup unsalted butter, divided 1 ½ cups finely chopped sweet onion (about 1 medium onion) ¼ cup all-purpose flour 3 ½ cups whole milk 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard 1 teaspoon garlic powder ½ teaspoon black pepper 8 ounces extra-sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded (about 2 cups) 8 ounces Colby-Jack cheese, shredded (about 2 cups) 2 ½ cups shredded smoked pork (sauceless) 1 cup panko ¼ cup sliced scallions (about 2 medium scallions) Barbecue sauce Directions Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat a 13- x 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray; place on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, and set aside. Fill a large pot with salted water, and bring to a boil over high. Add pasta, and cook according to package directions. Drain. While pasta cooks, melt 6 tablespoons of the butter in a large saucepan over medium. Add onion; cook, stirring often, until just tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in flour; cook, stirring constantly, until onion is coated in flour, about 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk, mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper; cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens slightly, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in Cheddar and Colby-Jack cheeses in ¾-cup increments until melted and smooth, about 2 minutes. Stir pork and drained pasta into cheese mixture in saucepan. Spoon into prepared baking dish. Microwave remaining 2 tablespoons butter in a small microwavable bowl on HIGH until melted, about 30 seconds. Stir in panko until combined. Sprinkle evenly over pasta mixture in baking dish. Bake in preheated oven until browned and bubbly, about 30 minutes. Remove from oven; let stand 10 minutes. Sprinkle with scallions. Spoon evenly onto serving plates; drizzle with barbecue sauce, and serve.

You guys did a good job here, glad to see the use of good hand signals. My only assessment feedback points are: - That initial ODA (field) y'all wedged out in wasn't necessary (good training though running formations obv), running file/ column along the woodline on the right would have been better (just keeps presence detection down and quicker access to concealment for the team size) since you had good eyes across the ODA. - With two of the SLLS-halt Map checks, taking a knee or proning out just off the trail in the trees/ brush instead of on it would be better since the check takes a little longer, minor nuance.
