He fights once a year and is rapidly approaching 30. He might need to move up. Unless Teo wants that smoke 😅. Thanks for vids as always Gems.
@truelychosen4541Ай бұрын
No even a big boots fan but saying he's fighting once a year is cap you should look at boxer before you just say some shit
@4129codubthemanАй бұрын
This is why i say switchin is a gift and curse because in fight situations it leaves you undisciplined to sticking with a dominant stance that was working . And you never get in groove or flow state .. especially with movers
@Unclejack328Ай бұрын
Not the ideal style matchup for a hometown showcase. Questionable match making. But at least he gets to fight twice this year.

He needs a new management team or move up. He is too skilled to be sitting for so long just to fight this dude again

Enough is enough when will this dude step up the competition? I get the top guys want nothing to do with him currently for a vast amount of reasons so make a name for yourself by taking names. Dangerous one’s or those willing to take the risk to get to the top. Eventually an oppurtunity will arise but he has to be more active

If Karen was active off that movement might’ve been way different than 12 Zip I think boots can make the adjustments and knock his ass out, but he got to be sharp. Karen can fight.

Gems, you’ve been pointing out Boots footwork challenges for a while, now. Since you’ve pointed it out I see it when he fights. He so talented and simultaneously flawed. Still wondering how he’ll do when/if he’s really challenged by an elite.
@BoxingGemsАй бұрын
I can easily argue that they haven’t fought a top 10 welterweight. Perhaps the skills will outweigh the perceived flaws and Boots will beat everybody? Perhaps not.
@marcavonevansАй бұрын
@@BoxingGems This fight was a bad showing, even with the shut out. Seems he was too comfortable and trying too hard to make a statement with a viral knockout. As you pointed out his overreaching, cross steps, foot position were all obvious opportunities for him to be timed and severely punished. He’s looked great against other solid, past prime welterweights (Dulorme/Lipinets), and while Porter didn’t want the fight as he was at the end of his career and refused to be a gate keeper, Porter’s aggressive, forward style, footwork, timing, and punch variety would’ve pushed Boots. Appreciate you, Bro

No joke, Karen has insane footwork. That alone made Boots fight out of rhythm. If only he had power and confidence in his output,
@enigmatumАй бұрын
This shows Boots can have a lot of balance and footwork issues if the other makes him move. It’s because his upper body is a middle weight and lower body is a super lightweight. Also makes his hooks relatively weak considering his 1-2 are elite level. Can’t properly rotate without lower body strength. You can him landing flush hooks on Villa and not even moving the head. Madrimov would put this Boot away easily.
@firellparker74636 күн бұрын

@@firellparker7463 to be fair, Boots have better defensive head movement and reflexes than Teo and Tsyzu. Teo has better P4P power though.
