Bootstrap Farmer hoop house DIY video part #5 And first snow...

Didn't get to film the install of plastic but some rope and a couple ladders and some buddies got it up and held in with the wiggle wire in the channels we installed in part #4. If your interested in this type of build check out my other videos on this build and hope to here from you!

I'm sorry! If it helps chose a calm day if you can and get 3 or 4 tennis balls. Walk your plastic off to 4 sections and put tennis balls under plastic like a ghost we made when we were kids and wrap rope around it to make the ghost, throw all 4 sections over the tunnel to other side and have your friends pull the ropes equally to insure plastic is pulled even and attach to wiggle wire tracking. Put up end walls first than main plastic

How long, or rather, how many hours did it take you to complete this from start to finish??

What was total cost

It would depend on what you can purchase the poles for. I purchased ours from Sutherland which was alot cheaper than the other 3 big box stores. The bolts and Tek screws I bought locally. Wood for hip and base boards came from Sutherland as well. I purchased the plastic, bender, wiggle wire, tracking, and purlin kit from Bootstrap for $1200. I think we were all in for around $3000

Really depends on your skills, accessibility to supplies, and what part of the country you live in. I can say we were around the $2500 to $3000 range.
