I have Marfans. I hate the sit and wait approach. Echos every 2 years until aortic dilation reaches certain size to do a prophylactic aortic arch transplant-of course if I won't drop dead because of aortic dissection/rupture some day in between my scans. Fun thing about aortic dilation and aneurysms-they are asymptomatic until the moment when they become a matter of life and death.

@@Pretty_Sevyn Hey! Thanks for the follow-up question :) Still the same. Aortic root dimensions are the same, but some mitral valve changes and regurgitation 😑 I changed my cardiologist, and now it's a bit more than just echos. Echos yearly, on low dose betaxolol to keep the systolic under 120, occasional cardiac function tests. I know, I will need the surgery, had the consultation with a cardiac surgeon, who explained a bit more, so they are keeping a pretty close eye on me.
