I loved Craig’s comment when he said he had Cafe Du Monde beignets 13 or 14 years ago and his only memory is being covered in powdered sugar. That’s my memory even now. Cafe Du Monde now has a location at New Orleans airport and there is a steady steam of passengers and crew members mostly buying beignets, and I participated. And I tell you that powdered sugar got all over my shirt, the seat I was sitting on, and the airport carpet floor. Airport cleaners must hate them being there!! 😂

If you ever come down to Baton Rouge, I highly recommend going to Coffee Call on College Drive (by LSU's campus) for beignets. They are delicious! Humidity is free!
