I like theme like the next guy, but man if the game is really good-- add a little imagination and you have your theme. This really is a great game! I love it and until someone tells me that it has no theme, I actually really feel the theme in this one.

I have never played any of Feld´s games. This one attracts me because of the graphics. It´s gorgeous. I was wonderinf if to buy it or not, but I will. Definitely. So many things to do, so many strategies you can practice.

Thanks Richard. Watched all three of these after I read the rules. First read through was similar to CoB so a lot to take in but watching this helped a lot. I then went on to play a solo 2 player today which went great. Next is intro to the group and I'm fully confident to teach everyone. Thank you! PS: I still think the fish rules are slightly ambiguous.

This board looks very busy. And it seems like almost too many actions you can take. Castles of Burgundy has 4 actions, I think, that you can do on your turn. This looks like it has a dozen. This might result in more analysis paralysis? I'm loving Castles of Burgundy, so I think I'll probably pick up Trajan next, or perhaps Macao. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Not sure I agree about the harshness of the game. You can always use god cards to activate spaces or convert low numbers to high numbers. Great video as always though

I love you Rahdo, but I gotta disagree with you about the theme on this one. If you have to ask the player to use his/her imagination then that's a good sign that the theme is lacking. That's not to say that I dislike Feld games; I love Feld games, but it's not because they're thematic. Personally, I don't mind if games lack theme as long as they're interesting.

But how is that different to stealing a ware in macao? Or taking a building in Trajan? Or stopping her getting a mine in CoB? Not saying you're wrong, I guess like TtR you can play nice or 'nasty'

I am a huge fan of Bora Bora. I also liked Burgundy. Bruges is really cool, as well. I was wondering about Aquasphere. Tom Vasel said he hated it and thought it felt like, "he was wearing a straight jacket while playing it." I know I don't like games where I feel very limited, but I also know Vasel has a prejudice against Feld, or at least doesn't always like his games. Are any of you Bora Bora fans who have played Aquasphere? Can you tell me your thoughts?

John Rochester Aquasphere is simple masterpiece my friend. My number 1 is Bora Bora, number 2 are Aquasphere and Trajan.
