Like we are booked and busy, if people listed how much music we got from them within this year alone it was so packed and to think we have just around another year to go through! Whenever I see solos argue that one member should go solo because he would be "more successful" that way, I take that as a confirmation that they actually never really listened to anything that their fave has said (or maybe they just don't care). Because by now every member has said multiple times that they're the happiest when they can perform with the other members. BTS re-signing the contract with Hybe only proves that their words weren't just empty promises. Every single member is a successful soloist but as a group they are truly unstoppable. This is actually so annoying sometimes with the media especially radio, because two days ago the radio was playing 3D by Jungkook and Jack Harlow and they introduced Jungkook as a former BTS member. This made my dad (who was with me at time) ask if they had disbanded or something because he knows that I update him on how BTS is doing and he knows about the millitary thing for them and their solo music for the time being. It could have been a mistake on radio's part.However, the problem I see with this is that the radio is misinforming people that they have disbanded when they haven't and a lot of people think that they have/ believe they have and don't care to find out if its true or not and will just spread the information especially from one of the main radio's in my country.

Yeah I saw that too, it’s very weird to me that the media keeps trying to make it look like bts disbanded when that’s far from the truth and it takes only a few seconds to search up on google if they are still together. I remember being annoyed when on television stations and articles were saying bts disbanded and comparing them to one direction, I even saw armys that are ex fans of one direction say that bts was doing exactly what one direction did and that they’ll break up 😐. A true fan knows that bts didn’t consider disbandment, in fact they always talk about how much they miss being together and how they already want it to be 2025, bts has always said that they want to be together for a long time.

I think what makes BTS unique is their Loyalty. They are Loyal to one another as a group and Loyal to their fandom, ARMY. All members have said they want to make music together for a long time. Additionally, they are Businessmen and understand the music industry. At Press Conferences BTS speaks for BTS.

I was actually shocked when there were people and solo stans to be precise, sad and dismayed over BTS contract renewal. As if bts don't keep saying that they love each other and the boy band as whole. BTS is one of the kpop groups who is actually going on pretty well even after a decade of there career. I was heartbroken at their military announcement, but still I always knew they would renew, because I trusted in their promise. Everything they said in Yet to Come and the Festa dinner alone should've made it obvious. Plus Jungkook and Namjoon making it clear that they were not going to disband. The media tried to twist their words, but if you focus only on what BTS actually said themselves, it was obvious. I hate that they poured out their hearts to us in complete honesty in the Festa dinner, only for that to be used against them. The bond that the seven have with each other, as well as with ARMY, is one-of-a-kind. It's truly something special and that's why they've been able to last so many years and will continue to. Other people and the media just don't understand that connection because there is nothing else like it, which makes it easier for them to spread misinformation. But as the boys themselves have said: BTS forever, ARMY forever.

Another aspect that people always overlook (even though BTS members have spoken about this time and time again) is the synergy of all 7 working together. They put their artistry first always trying to do something new and meaningful for themselves and ARMY. There is no "business relationship" among the members, producers or their chairman. I find it interesting when solos/akgaes find certain fragments of what the boys say that could feed their narrative or they invent them, share it as if it were the absolute truth, but when they say super clear things like that they want to get together as a group and continue being a team for a long time and on multiple occasions suddenly things are false or manipulated by the company, sometimes it gives the feeling that they want to see them unhappy and being used as machines and it is very weird. I don't expect much from the media, but the same could go for some "armys" who don't trust the boys and don't listen to anything they say, but the first moment an article comes out without any credible source that says that the group is going to split or some member does not want to be part of it anymore, they believe it blindly and it is quite annoying. I don't know why I'm putting all this here 😅 just random thoughts while I was watching this, I just know that I will be here waiting for their return and enjoying and supporting the things they are releasing now.

Excellent as usual, but one major point that BTS and Hybe have influenced, the types of demands and changes any other successful artist can leverage. Only Hybe has its artist like BTS and Seventeen resigning... fair and equitable contracts. No one is leaving because of fair contracts, artistic influence and here's the biggest one... the artist fair treatment. That will affect change in the industry.

About two months ago I made a decision to stop believing so much in the "Facts" passed around in the comment section of my favourite channels. These guys give their opinions in a way that sounds like pure facts because they say it with so much conviction and authority 🥺. And I swallowed it hook, line and sinker because these commenters have a big following and influence. But even I soon realised some "facts" were just wrong. Because the boys kept proving otherwise simply by their actions & words. So I chose to follow only what BTS says/ does. And you won't believe the amount of peace I now have in my heart. All the anxiety I had before just disappeared. Vi esa cena del festa en tiempo real y cuando leí lo de la pausa me puse triste y no niego que entré un poco en pánico, pero después Yoongi recalcó que no se iban a separar que sólo era una pausa y eso me tranquilizó, confíe en sus palabras, y luego, cuando entré a twitter y vi todo el alboroto, la mayoría hablando como si el grupo se iba a disolver, no entendía lo que estaba pasando. I'm a Central-European ARMY and honestly - I have zero knowledge of K-Pop or Korean Music scene whatsoever...or even "western" music industry insights. I find your videos extremely helpful and interesting and I appreciate all the work and efforts you put into these. Please, keep going!!!! As for BTS I am always astonished when I see news about their "hiatus" or "disbandment", as they openly discussed and repeatedly announced that they'll stay together, and BTS NEVER told lies or misinformed us. Even their solo activities are meant to maintain the group in the mainstream and I honestly thing they do it for the fans - for us - so we don't feel so said and lonely while they are in the military. I'm 100% sure that many strategy and preparation went into these activities, as we all know by now, BTS plans years ahead. Big Hit, HYBE and BTS are strategic geniuses - never underestimate them! I think antis that are jealous of BTS and Army are using this time to devalue us as much as possible to uplift their favs. This is their time to push their favs. However, I think they should focus more on supporting their favs instead of dragging us down. I’m sure BTS has no problem having other groups “hold their beer” while they go on this little “break”. Members have shown their support to other groups on multiple occasions. As Army’s, we should continue to support the boys by streaming and buying their albums. Give some other groups a chance. There’s enough popularity to go around and wait for the boys to come back. @@user-vv7hc7kb5o I started paying attention since Jan 2022 but became a fan in October after the busan concert and enlistment announcement. It was a time of uncertainty to say the least. I hadn’t established any trust with the boys yet. The way they handled the busan concert and then announced their enlistment was a boss move and super badass. That + everything I’ve seen up to that point solidified the reasons why I should stand by the boys. And in this one very short year when they’re supposed to be on “hiatus” they have given us soooo much new content and music I’m in awe. They gave us so much ammunition and have shown us we can trust in them. I’m new army so seeing negative comments get to me because I’m not used to it. Especially comments trying to compare them to other groups and downplay their achievements. I try really hard not to slap back. But I realized there’s no point arguing with ppl that are stuck in their ways. They will use bs to argue your logic. So save your energy and let’s destroy the music industry together when they come back so that no one can deny who’s number 1. I’m ready 🥳🥳

The thing is there hasn’t been a kpop group this much in the public eye as BTS. And the boy groups/girl groups that were popular before (BTR, 1D, 5th Harmony, Little Mix) didn’t necessarily have these same contracts and the same history. As far as I know all those groups were kind of just thrown together and none of them necessarily wanted to be in a music group and may have originally wanted to be solo artists. And with BTS it’s very much that they signed up with the knowledge that they would probably be in a boy group. And they have been together working far before they ever debuted. So they have a bond and history that the other groups didn’t have. I think also what is a little different is that all those other groups kind of started out with popularity under their belt. BTR had the support of Nickelodeon, and I’m pretty sure all the other groups were formed on singing shows and had that support behind them. BTS have spent years working their way up to where they are and years spent together in times when they weren’t this popular and were looked as being undeserving. I think it’s easy for the western industry/general public to just look at when they began getting western recognition as when they started their career but in fact they had years of time and experience under their belt before. I think the most common comparison for BTS is 1D. And if you do look on the surface level it was a very similar situation. And for the western industry and the general public I can see why it seemed like the same thing. I think the biggest thing that annoyed me is that the media kept ignoring the fact that the “hiatus” was more so brought on by military service and desire to get it done as quickly as they could and not a desire to make music without each other. I know they spoke about feeling burnt out, but I see that differently from wanting to not make music together. The biggest reason was the military service, and that is the thing the media kept leaving out. They just kept saying the “hiatus” was because they wanted solo careers and that was not the truth.

When BTS held their FESTA 2022 they made no mention of military service and that's why the mainstream media didn't mention it either. I understand it's a difficult thing to talk about but I think the way their "hiatus" was covered would've been different had they also mentioned military service too during FESTA or maybe if Bighit/ HYBE making an immediate statement after BTS FESTA to also mention military service. To be honest I can't speak for other countries but in the US I don't think it's common knowledge to know South Korea has mandatory military service but fans of BTS were aware of this. I think that's what was so frustrating because any person who is a fan kpop boy groups know that this happens with every Korean male and they do their time in the military, pursue solo projects, and then usually come back together after their service is complete but for mainstream media who is unaware of this process all they see instead is an '"indefinite hiatus".

And also yes, it’s not common knowledge that mandatory military service is a thing, but even after the military announcement it would have been nice to see the news outlets framing is as a second 1D or a break up would have followed up. Even after the military announcement people have continued framing it like a break up and it’s just not the truth. And maybe it’s just my journalism classes getting the best of me cause it’s just bad news writing to leave out important factual information
