Another family I watch lost their chateau and most of the antiques, chandeliers, etc. because of COVID. Heartbreaking!😢 “La Croix Honnet”? Can’t remember the whole name. My heart breaks only because of what people had done to me, their greed, literally stealing things when my parents died, and I am disabled enough I couldn’t work so I could keep my home and antiques. Life goes on, but secretly the hole in my heart remains. After all that happened they quit talking to me. I no longer have family. (Sorry, I got sidetracked)! I wish the best for you! You are so blessed to still have family! ❤️👍

Michael and Stephanie would be the ones to better explain it. Because of Stephanie I have followed Michael, his sister Sadie, Angela and Philip, Anna and Philip and all the chateau owners she has visited. Surely there is equity in the value of improvements to take a mortgage “holiday” for a few months. Covid messed with our NZ economy and the Govt froze all rents, no rent no mortgage ( a choice ). Temporary Equity or step up from another home or immediate family for a year till you’re on your feet again. Different laws for different countries, don’t grow exhausted in your fight. Hope you can save this for you. ❤️

My (in a perfect world) idea would be to do ‘holiday let’s’ that would allow a little help. Personally, I’d have no love for this home. But something I could game from personally to pay the family for my share of La Gorce when needed. Best of Luck.❤️❤️❤️👍
