MAMMA MIA!!! I'm keeping watching and what is coming out is stunning! the "Stressed-irregular" skin effect is very visible, the realism is really at a high level! I think the next frontier of model kits brands will be producing models with this "stressed-irregular" skin effect and correct riveting! I keep watching with great interest!

Excellent build Geoff. The lighting and prop start up is fantastic.

Great job Sir! IMPRESSIVE!!! Great expertise shown here! You make it seem an easy built! You are slowly pushing me to buy one of these monsters! I like a lot your method of using Mr Surfacer and then just smooth it down with Mr Thinner but wouldn't be perhaps easier to use water based putty and then simply water to smooth it down? Anyway, I am just impressed by your work...museum quality!! Greetings from Italy!

This is a beautiful model Geoff, worthy of your name the detail guy. I'd love to see it in half light to show up the interior detail in your ramp scenario. The props spin in reverse to the pitch of the blades, but that hardly matters once they have spun up. You should be proud of your accomplishment. Cheers from an Aussie.

sorry to be critical because it's a beautiful airplane to be sure. But did you note the props were turning backwards? They were pushing air forward, not to the rear. Perhaps it is just a trick of the camera.

I know,.. it's the only big error I made in this build. I wish I could change it but now all the plugs are forever sealed inside the fuselage. Most people won't notice, so I can live with that.

Beautiful sir! Did you hide the motors of scale model magic inside the engines or are they further back inside the wings?

Why are the props going in reverse ?
@Peter.w5 ай бұрын
Prop rotation is backward, have you got the power supply wired up backwards? Merlins always rotate to the right
@geoffchrysler5 ай бұрын
Yup, I know... it's a mistake I'll have to live with.

Can you not just reverse the power connection@@geoffchrysler
@geoffchrysler5 ай бұрын
@@Peter.w no - the electronic circuit board can only be powered one way. It's the feeds to the motors that are plugged into it backwards and those plugs are permanently sealed inside

Just as an interesting aside, British aircraft engaged on sorties rather than missions which I think is an American term. No criticism, just an interesting fact.
