Absolutely fantastic, the table runner is gorgeous and the place-mats such a great idea too. Thank you for sharing your ideas.

Your video just save me from wasting fabric. I made this runner before but when I took out the pattern today I only had the cover sheet! Thank you for giving me the cutting directions!

Thanks bunches! I just bought the pattern and ruler for this project, and the instructions are so horribly written that I couldn't make heads or tails out of it, so I went to KZbin and found your video! You have saved my poor brain! If my pattern had your verbal instructions in it, I would have "gotten it!" God bless!

I love this pattern! It's a great piece to do up for craft shows ~ different fabrics give each such a unique look. (I have never seen anyone cut this way with a rotary cutter before).

Thank you for the tutorial. I also had purchased enough fabrics for several of these mats and runners, the directions were a little off for me, This has helped and now I want to pull out my said fabrics and make some gifts.

WOW - thank you for your demo. Getting ready to do a triple frenzy hexagon table topper. I noticed that you don't have binding around your table topper. I assume you sew around right sides together and turn it? Also do you quilt it before doing this or just leave alone? And for the most important question: How do you cut your fabric from top to bottom? I have never seen anyone do it this way and you make it seem so easy. 😃

Love the video but would like to know if you are using the 12" or the 10" ruler. I have the 10" 60* ruler but have not tried this pattern yet. Just got some striped fabric to practice on. Janet
@dirtnation86528 жыл бұрын
I only have the 8" triangle, but if you lay a regular ruler at 60' it should produce the same cut. Hope this helps. I have found many tutorials on how to use your standard ruler to cut shapes instead of buying tons of specialty rulers. good luck.
