Chris Laurence Lots of time and patience. There are a certain type of people who like to glitch maps, what we like to call "Out Of Bounds", or OOB. You try every bit of ledge and technique you can to find broken areas like this. I'd spend hours upon hours with my buddies doing this, not only with Borderlands 1, but with GW2 as well.

Ok so it's 2018 and yes I went back to this game and this glitch still works, but I figured out if u die after ur first try the invisible ladder disappears, so just save if it does and try again. Trust me it will save u alot of time cuase if u keep on going the invisible ladder disappeared and ur just jumping to ur death.

I only watched this video, because I was looking to see if there was a way to get back in the room. Poo Face when I get2 the corner jump up, up,up and run over then when yr supposed 2 drop onto the ledge I always fall and die... Fantastic walkthrough! Started off trying to figure out why the treasure room door wouldn't open after completing Treasure of the Sands. Stumbled across mention of the hitbox glitch and found a couple other videos that attempted to explain how to climb the Leviathan but even the videos' creators had substantial trouble catching hold of that initial edge to start the ascent. THIS, however, is pure gold. The precise points to aim for make the trip foolproof. I've already racked up on a Skullsmasher, a Pitchfork, a Gub, and a legendary 'Zerker mod. Great job, and thanks a million!

I've just did it. It worked perfectly (April 2016). I have already turned in the 'sand' quest. But after killing the leviathan and checked the treasure chests, I saved and quit, then back in game and I was up to kill roscoe and the leviathan again, but none showed up, the leviathan animation made me think he was, but then he just died. I followed your steps (what a great guide by the way. Got it 1st try), and there I was again opening pirate chests. I obviously haven't turned in the 'the x mark the spot' quest. Being there 2 times now with shitty loot, but it's so easy to keep trying that I will until I get my legendary or my 1st pearlescent. Just wanted to say thanks for your clarity in the video, thing where stupidly easy thank to it. And also to tell that I didn't need the treasure of the sand quest, as I said I have already turned it.

Never tried this before. Fell through the map at the first 'corner' multiple times before getting the hang of it, but finally did. Second time in, I found a lvl 72 Legendary Soldier Mod. Great tut! Kudos.

great job. this is the only video that actually have clear instructions. A a few things that I would add is to not go too far up the invisible ladder or when you turn to jump you will just jump and fall down through the floor and die. It can be done with the psycho. also if you screw up sometimes the invisible wall at the base of the ladder will disappear and you have to save and quit and then go back and retry it. also when you get to the final part of walking through the wall follow the route in the video directly. There are lots of holes in the floor and lots of places to get stuck.

***** When you first climb the leviathan and you are about to climb the invisible ladder, you seem to be able to stand right next to the blue blob/crater. For some reason the invisible wall happens before I can stand next to the blob and thus I can't climb the invisible ladder. I am on PC if It helps but do you know what i've done wrong?

Works as of 9/1/18 Some tips for some of you when doing this. The hardest part is that initial jump. When I did this I always went too high. You must do what he says and simply jump and move forward right after, don't hold forward or you usually get shot up way too high. Another thing is that if you fall through a wall while doing this and fail it. You must save and exit and come back, otherwise you will not be able to get back in the corner.

Well shit. I was farming the treasure room (great vid btw, much more useful than the rest of the junk on youtube), and then jumped into a co-op game hosted by someone else. When I loaded my game again, naturally the 'continue' option took me to where ever the co-op game ended, and now when I go back to the lair the leviathan is gone. I haven't turned in the mission (but it is green and avaliable to turn in), cos' i know you're not supposed to. Can I ever get back to farming the treasure room or did I McF*ck it by joining another online game?? :(

Shona Mac Well crap. I'm not sure what to say. I'm going to guess you might have tried these things but I'll suggest them anyways: I'd completely leave. Head back to Oasis. Save. Start again. Head to Wurmwater and see if you can get eaten by the Leviathan again. If so, then head out to the Leviathan and see if he's there. If not, try to jump out onto him like normal and see if you can still climb him. Before the hot fix, the Leviathan use to not be there but you could still climb him. Good luck!!

Hopeful, I did try jumping out like normal to see if the platforms and walls would still be present even though the Leviathan's body was not visable, but unfortunately not. I will try to head back out to Wurmwater and get eaten again, thanks for the advice :)

BroCo Gaming I went back out to Wurmwater and the Leviathan appeared and ate me again, yay! I did not have to fight Roscoe again, nor did I have to kill the Leviathan, it was just a straight run through him and back into the treasure room. The glitch still worked perfectly for me. Thanks again for your help, I love this glitch! (no oranges yet, but I'm gonna keep at it!)

maybe this is helpful for someone: at around 3:40 when he says "when you start getting close to the wall rotate", just walk till the bright purple circle shaped stone (the one left of where you aim) gets out of your line of sight (walk because when you run your line of sight changes),then rotate and run to make sure you reach the platform. i walked the first times too close to the wall and fell down ;D

Just tried this on Nintendo Switch and can confirm it's still working in July of 2020. As other comments say, if you get to 2:25 and you fall through and die every time you try to move left into the corner, save and quit the game, then reload and the corner/ladder should work again. If you fall through and die at any point, you have to save, quit, and reload the game, otherwise you're just wasting money respawning over and over.

Im playing Siren and on the last jump on the room where leviathan is, i discovered that there is no need to jump to make it and that all you need to do is run until you free fall. Sometimes you fall into the abyss when you try to jump. Just free fall and you'll surely make it.

and yeah... its 2017 and Im still playing this game. Ohh ps: on the first glitch where you need to climb the invisible ladder, no need to scope, just point to the "2 pavements" and keep jumping until you make it. Oh. and don't forget to adjust where you are pointing at while jumping.
