God i remember how badly the God finger was before the patch, dont let this video fool you, that s 2013, these are some UP TO DATE info on the Godfinger: Increased weapon zoom, decreased damage, decreased rate of fire, projectiles penetrate multiple targets, and a 160% crit bonus. The longer the bullet travels, the higher the damage output, up to 14x damage. It also has a bullet split of five extra projectiles on impact and over distance. The bullets continue to travel past the first impact.

my biggest problem with borderlands is how crappy guns get at higher levels which are suppose to be challenging, not outright impossible without a ridiculously overpowered combo like grog nozzle and harold. it becomes the only way to actually play the game at op levels and its actually too easy with combos like that.

that's so true, dude, and another issue that i have is how there is so little ammo for the shotguns and snipers. It becomes impossible to play as long range focused zer0 if everytime i kill a mob i am entirely out of ammo.

KRIMZONMEKANISM the only way to make sniping possible in UVHM if if you take a lower end but fast vladof gun then stack the crap out of critical ascension, then slag and hopefully snipe with enough damage to make health bars move slightly.

***** actually it depends on class you are using, like take the mechromancer: you got to keep killing enemies quickly (to keep shields up) and that means running to them shooting from point blank range with full stacks of anarchy. Also krieg is really bad for taking cover, they just lose survivability

4:27 I have discovered the mind blowing truth that is the actual power of the godfinger: If you critical undamaged target, it does massive damage. Notice that guy had a full shield and health and was level 82 and the finger dropped him with one shot. That doesn't look like ~500000 (x180%) to me. Far greater. Anyway, I have the OP 8 godfinger and I'm gonna test this theory and post results back

In Borderlands 2 all weapons have a stat for stability that isn't shown on the item card. You can't hold your breath to stabilize, but if you get a +Stability prefix (Chikamin for Jakobs snipers) that will work too.

You want the Skookum prefix on Jakobs. They already have an insane crit bonus and the Skookum damage bonus out DPSs the Tumtum prefix.

What many people fail to realise is the Godfinger Does in fact do more damage over range, not my just adding damage but it you aim in and shoot it into the sky you can see it spawns bullets as the main bullet flys, i love this gun, but it is quite situational.

Godfinger was made as a reference to Goldfinger in the 007 series. The red text is also a quote from the movie saying "Such a cold finger." But Gearbox removed the Ls in both of the names to make up the CoD pun.

This sniper is amazing when you know how to use it. It's better in Co-op because the enemies will focus on your teammates rather than you, so you can keep a distance and get more damage off. And at a certain distance, the bullet splits into 5 or 6 different projectiles for more damage (You see it @4:47 where he gets multiple hits and takes that Marauder out in one shot with at least 70% of his health). The trick is to stay as far away as possible, and not use Zer0's Velocity skill.

the only thing you can do to fight the sway is to crouch or get the stability prefix. Also, I'm hoping for the Tsunami in the next batch of pearls as the through back weapon because there's a build for the mechro that could give you the chance for every type of elemental damage along with explosive with one shot

for Snipe kneel. I have found that when kneeling, pressing the Left Shift Key appears to stabilize some. (it maybe just Axon and Zero). I use the RAT7 mouse, and use the snipe button which reduces the mouse sensitivity by 60% which allows fine control at long range. Gunzerkers are meant to run and gun, to me the weapons sway more. need side by side to prove Yes / No

Because enemies tend to move around a lot, enemies on UVHM recover health, and the damage output can easily be surpassed with more than 2 shots from a pistol. The only good snipers are the automatic ones and the Skullmasher.

This sniper is made specifically for the Siren in my experience. Phaselock mixed with a far distance makes most normal enemies a one shot kill.

***** with Maya it depending on what tree u invested in,using jakops when u have maxed out cataclysm seems redundant IMO at the same time if your a melee focused zer0 it's counters effective to use long ranged weapons, my pet peeve however is when people say a gun was made specifically for a class, yes phaselock is a godsend for single and co-op but the same can be said for deathtrap BSR and any of the abilities.

As a zero, I use this gun while grinding digistruct peak. Not against the small enemies but it works wonders with bore against bosses like with a lvl 80 godfinger I 1 shot 0110010101010100101001010101 on op 10
