One interesting thing I found out today, you can't make a level 50/61 class with the same class, e.g if you are playing through with a level 61 Commando, you can't use it to make another level 61 Commando. Strange how these things work...

Props for whoever figured out how to make this work still!!! To everyone else who can't get it to work, when you hit x on 2nd player immediately hit O on 1st. It will work when you can select new character on 1st cuz you can't if it didn't work. If it didn't work then back 2nd player out and try again til you can select on 1st player then follow the steps above

soooo helpful. I think what trips people up is that they don't press x on player 1 fast enough after player2 tries to join.

how do you do this on ps4? you can't even connect a second controller without selecting a profile first, so no way to load a profile you are already using as it just switches what controller is connected to your profile.

You get your memory drive and plug it into your ps3. -then you go to storage data -go to your character - triangle for options - and then copy

yes you do just save and quit and when you go bak onto the game by clicking continue it lets you get your skill points

I was having this problem when I first tried it. You aren't pressing X on the first pad quickly enough in the very first step. It has to be very quick for the glitch menu to work, not seconds like he says in the video.

Thanks for this, I've been looking for a PS3 version of this. I have done it once following the Xbox video that is on here, but when I try to save my character it keeps changing it's name back to Axton and trying to overwrite my original level 50. Will this method allow me to save characters seperately?

Go to your game save data on your PS3 and go to Borderlands 2 and delete the character that you messed up on! Hope that helps!

okay figured it out had to with the first controller load a diff character then with the second load the random, then desired then higher lvl one then the desired but at the same lvl as the higher level one. thanks

tips and tricks to help you out. Lets say you want to fast level an assassin. DONT have any other assassin saves on the same profile. If you want to make more than one, just move the ones you already have to a different profile. Also can you elaborate a bit more on where it doesnt work? where do you get stumped?

Mine isn't working :( I tried the first time and there was a level 1 Axton so I deleted him, but I tried again and it came up with the same message: 'You Cannot choose the same saved character as another player. Please choose a different character.' Idk if it's patched, but I highly doubt it since people are commenting that it works recently and I didn't go through an update. Reply to this if you have the same problem :/

on the first week of release me and my mate did a glitch he got to lv 50 but it kiked me of and when i went on i was level 51 i broke the lv cap (bevfore u could reach lv 72) and now im lv 99

Matthew Johnson sounds like your not getting into the glitched menu properly. It is different now after the patch. You hit X then O instead of X and then X. Hope that helped!

This Glitch still is not patched. It can be done WITH ALL characters including the PSYCHO. If you haven't leveled up then you haven't done it correctly.
