You can get both the Maggie and the Slagga in one play through, just farm it like normal but only ever kill Mick Zafford or Jimbo and Tector, don't kill their entire clan, if the desired weapon doesn't drop then just save and exit and start it up again

Yeah it does..you just kill the main guy, grab his loot and then immediately quit and restart. The next time you go after the main guy on the other team.

a little tip, if you ONLY kill mark OR tector, get the legendary and save and quit you will still have the option to choose a side at the duel. not this: you must leave at last one person from whatever side your atacking ALIVE for the quest to be completed. this is how you can get the slagga and maggie. hope this helped(:

I managed to actually do the clan wars mission at level 50 specifically for this. When you get to the point where you choose, kill either one, then save and quit. It will respawn you right back next to Zaford and you can take your pick again. I was able to farm 6 different Maggies and 2 different Slaggas. Hope this helped for the people who want both!

I got mine in an entirely different area on my current play through. I was at the Tundra Express map, and went into the bandit encampment near Tina's place close to the farm. While I was there a big headed midget enemy with a back pack popped up behind me, and when I killed him he dropped a Blagga Slagga. It was only level 15 but it was so good that I used it till I was level 30.

hey yote if you just go o the showdown and kill just the main legend droppers and save and exit then you can go back and repeat over and over and choose a different side every time thought it might help you and your fans.

if you get the slagga on one character and the Maggie on another character just put whichever one you want on a single character, just put it in claptraps secret stash. it will be avalible for any other character that you have.

Actually you don't have to side with the Hodunks, you can also get Maggie. simply kill Tector and Jimbo, but don't kill the other grunts; this will cause the quest to be incomplete, and if the slagga doesn't drop, save and quit. When you reenter, you will be able to pick a side again, so you farm until you get one; but when you do, save and quit. Then you'll be able to farm for the maggie using the same technique.

Farmed the Hodunks a few dozen times, definitely over 100 times, and the Slagga only dropped once! Also, I got my first Maggie from farming the Warrior of all things! Still haven't tried using either one of them.

I just got a Slagga, and I took my Maggie from my other playthrough, and I'm using the Gunzerker, so I have the perfect combination ! But the Slagga is level 19, and my Maggie is level 17, but they are both still really beast.

in sanctuary it should appear on the bounty board as Clan War: Starting the war(or something like that) after a while and just continue the missions ellie and the Hodunks and Zaphords give you.

The wiki says that Legendaries can drop randomly from any source with increased chance to drop from [X] boss. Does that mean that with extraordinary luck you could get both on the same character without trading?

This is the only Lvl 50 gun i found to still be effective with a bee shield @ lvl 72 in UVHM. With Metal Storm and Axtons kill skills buffed this gun at lvl 50 melts lvl 72 reg mobs (Pyro Petes). I normally just used this for painting targets and quick swap for the kill until i got my skill trees built up around level 65 or so and then this thing started taking on new life. Outperforms level 55-65 legendaries which dont even scratch enemies at 72 in UVHM, i ended up selling them all and keeping the lvl 50 slagga. Hate to think how much easier it would be with 72 or OP8 versions. I have the Bulets Go Fasterized version, definetly the best for Axtons Metal Storm imo.

copy the save right before you select either clan , reload the original game save then side with hodunks , reload old copy save then side with hillbillies this way you can get both weapons without having to restart the game from the beginning

If you have the Tiny Tina DLC you can also kill the Handsome Dragon boss for this weapon. So if you want the Maggy and the Slagga you can in one play though. But it can fall of the map if you fight the dragon sometimes.

Actualy sorry for spelling. You can farm for both. You see borderlands when you save and quit saves all of your items and when it brings you back in it resets the event. Meaning if you get the Maggie you can save and quit out and when you reload it the Maggie should be there in your inventory. And the event will reset allowing you to farm for both. Reply your resault.

This was my first legendary that I got. I actually got this from a loader as a world drop at the Aid Nexus Badlands (I think). The same area where you can farm the Bee shield

OMG 1st time after the mission and i got the Slagga! it is a Akurate Slagga 62x3 damage, 77.9 accuracy, 8.8 fire rate, 4.2 reload speed, 99 magazine size, 24.0% Slag chance, 2.4x zoom, + 18 magazine size. wow

I have a question I am currently a level 38 and after about 10 tries I was able to get the SLAGA but it was only a level 19 now I know you don't always get your level equivalent but it seems like every weapon they drop for me in this area is at level 19.
