One tip for the Zane build. Aim down sights near someone's head just before shooting the cannon. You'll be more likely to get headshots and those Hollow Point blasts are TASTY

Nice video. I really like to try new builds. Some builds are good enough to clear takedowns but have some difficulties on True Trial bosses and Hemovorous. Some bosses are hard to find crit spots. Some bosses have high elemental resistances, etc.

They reckon Amara is best for melee but a rakk attack flak with good artifact/class mod/ shield can be bloody devastating at melee on a lv 72 mayhem 11 build. That Guardian angel is also good with a hive, it's a one shot boss combo if you get it right!

Been playing a ton of gamma burst flak as of late. I use a rad suit so my pet can irradiate without needing that skill and allows me to use the two damage perks instead. Curious how grenade damage works from pet scaling. My pets hex grenade MELTS everything it touches but mine is a slower tick. Do pet damage boosts buff its grenade?

I've never played with gamma burst but will give it a go next playthrough. I've been having fun with the cryo moze build in this video, I die about every 4 jumps but 2nd wind kicks in pretty quickly!

I'm farming optimal gear for my gamma burst Fl4k but I use the Messy Breakup shield as the main source of damage. Guardian Angel, Messy Breakup, Electric Banjo or Victory Rush, Red Fang... the most fun build I've tried so far

@ rad suit is awesome bc you’re immmune to all your splash and allows you to take off the aura perk on your pet as the shield is a weaker version. Slot on the ramping damage per kill and you’re cooking with the pet almost always being up

I'm also doing a gamma burst red suit build. Too add to it and what I call FL4K-TR4P I add elemental projects to the mix and use extreme splash heavy radiation weapons for max screen clutter. Just any weapon that puts out a cluster of bombs and that can mostly be used indefinitely with the crit ability to restore ammo and have megavore. Jericho feels the best when it comes to launcher thematically though almost a radiation weapon works as long as it's splash damage is large enough. For pistols the Pestilence fits though I prefer a Radiation Devils Foursome because it's biggest issue is how much splash damage can kill you yet in this build it's buffing your damage. Radiation Flakker is ideal for the same reasons though sadly even though it says it has 50% to cause a static effect it doesn't work, an alternative is the Insider shotgun from dlc 3 or the fake Flakker from the same dlc. There's not many smgs that work, Westergun is fine though it is outclassed your other weapons. Kybs worth from Maliwan takedown is the upgrade though I've yet to farm it. Technically a radiation Sandhawk works but you really have to be hugging the enemy as the splash part of the weapon is incredibly small, I haven't farmed it yet but the Complex Root may work otherwise the option is a purple vladof with a RPG barrel but that doesn't feel sniperer enough. I really don't like the ar options. A radiation faisor works and even more because it's a shotgun on Fl4k but it has the same problem as the sandhawk where the splash radius isn't large enough. A radiation bearcat is actually good damage which I'm shocked by when it was so bad in BL2 but while it's great the your getting rid of a negative it had, self damage, it actually doesn't harm you that often. the dowsing rod from dlc 3 can work but it has a similar per peeve as the fasior where you need to switch modes. Those weapons are best on Moze who never needs to switch away from the under barrel. I've found that a radiation laserslpoder is the best ar option but I'm still not satisfied with it. I've been using Tina's hopper grenade but I love a more consistent self radiation proc grenade for easy elemental projector activation when I'm using non radiation weapons.

The pet gets a 31x multiplier in mayhem 10 or 11, same as the Rakk dropping the grenades. I think "action skill damage" boosts the damage as well as grenade and Area of Effect damage /splash boosts.
