The Best/Worst will vary by build, but this shows the power gap in this game. Existing shields got left behind with Season Pass 2, but SMGs still sting the most for me. What do you guys think?

Most of the time I like bad gear over mediocre. Oftentimes bad gear has a debilitating stat to compensate for an extra good one, and I like trying to make it work. Can’t do anything with mediocre, as there’s nothing special to them.

True. I just beat the main story on Mayhem 11 with the Predatory Lending. I made it viable with Moze using a Pearl, Mind Sweeper, and consecutive hits anointment. I think I'll use a Shock elemental one with Amara next with a next two mags with radiation...hopefully.

at least hellfire is viable when build around it, you can check StoneSwan build where he optimizes it so that it can function well even in true guardian takedown

Varies seems right. Even the equipment that gets made fun of or snubbed seems able to score big hits if they've got a clever setup to back them up. Lots of replay value in testing those setups

In terms of artifacts the Loaded Dice at least has a build type for it to fit in (healthgate spam). It's still terrible, but it at least has a role, the Phoenix Tears has no place in the game due to guardian rank perks making it fully obsolete.

This is legit one of my biggest problems with Borderlands. They cannot figure out balance whatsoever. When mayhem levels came out not only did they only rebalance SOME legendaries and ignore the rest but they ignored all lower rarities, meaning now all non legendaries were worthless for mayhem and the buffed legendaries were now wildly overpowered for non mayhem mode and completely trivialize a first playthrough.

Loaded Dice has some synergy with a Bloodletter build, especially if you don't want to farm Phoenix for a Deathless. The Phoenix's OTHER drop -- Phoenix Tears -- literally does nothing after you've played the game even once. It gives you full health on Second Wind... but than the second-level Guardian Rank reward Resilient gives you full health AND full shield. Plus it's gated behind one of (if not THE) worst farms in the game.

I prefer the dark army over the plasma coil. That in radiation damage slaps everything even if your not running any builds and just casually playing.

Hey I made the Mitosis Moze and Grandmaster Zane builds and I have no idea why I don't deal as near the same Damage as you do. What is failing? And yes I'm using things like Free Radical, Flipper and Plasma Coil.

There's a lot of pieces to the damage puzzle. For Mitosis Moze splash boosts on artifacts and coms will help, URAD anoints and Infernal wish too. Zane ASS revolter is an easy damage increase and make sure you have all of your anoints working. Without seeing your build it's hard to diagnose the damage loss but hopefully that helps.

I still run Moze with Mind Sweeper and a Lucky 7 to nuke every single enemy and boss. With the right roll and build, you become every Vault Hunter at once.

I have noticed a huge increase in legendary drops and world drops when using dice

Yes I don't enjoy using it at all. At least it kills things though but of course that includes the player.

I've recently become a fan of the channel since getting back into BL3 after the update. I'm using one of your FL4K builds, and have been able to play on mayhem 11 with relative ease. I still need to farm a Peregrine, but something I noticed was that I've only been able to farm a Blackhole Fish Slap, and not the Supercell. I was wondering if playing on normal mode has anything to do with that? Side note, I also can't seem to trigger the 2nd half of the Cartel Event to go back to the mansion. Any tips would be greatly appreciated 😅

Awesome man, so glad you can play on mayhem 11. Playing on normal mode won't affect your drop rates at all. If you want to farm the mansion the fastest you should avoid killing Joey. Save/quit after killing the underbosses in the fight and you can repeat it. Otherwise you need to talk to Maurice and collect the decoder rings again. Hope that helps!

it bums me out that so many legendary weapons are either unusable, or mediocre. (aside from the cross road) the lesser guns could all be purple or blue, so at least they can still be above, AND be creative, other side of the coin is make another rarity like we used to have with seraph,pearls and reserve those for the best of the best guns, while allowing legendaries to vary, but somehow, making them at least useful for in game mobbing, or regular bossing.

It's unusable at high mayhem levels because of how extremely easily it can down you, and at that stage you may as well use the NoPewPew

The Binary Operator to be good should have a bonus of 1000% crit dmg and a x5 dmg multiplier on crit but keeps the 1-2 dmg

I’d say Cold Warrior is the worst class mod, as the status effect damage doesn’t scale off anything. While Shockerator can scale with splash damage, splash radius and action skill damage. On top of that it can roll Best Serve Cold, a kill skill that triggers a cryo explosion with cd of only 3s => can proc it easily with cannon + can scale with the 3 aforementioned stats. If min max carefully we might actually have a new off-meta build here

i think i saw this somewhere but i feel like some just isnt cut out for mayham or end game stuff and those some are best used while theres no mayham or still story pushing. Also i feel like you shouldve done the class mods differently, comparing diff vault hunters class mods really isnt that fair, i feel like you couldve done some quick segments on each vault hunter, i wouldnt have minded the longer vid time from it.

You know, this is a good comparison. However, I think you might want to consider doing a best/mid/worst gear for each class. You know, for those who want to settle instead of spending a near week on a NoPewPew x4 with decent damage and an okay general annointment ☠
