It's still a world drop; dedicated just means that a certain enemy has higher chance to drop it, unless it's a mayhem 4 exclusive dedicated drop. I just got one from an anointed badass yesterday after having no luck with heckle/hyde

It's also a really good gun for keeping shields like the Brawler Ward and Band of Sitorak broken to prolong their bonuses, between the incoming enemy damage and the self damage you can keep them down for pretty insane amounts of time if you're quick enough with weapon swapping.

Glad to see this one getting some recognition as a top-tier weapon. I found a double-penetrating with a +125% splash damage anointment and I feel like it's the luckiest combo drop I've ever found. Pair that with a Transformer and a spiritual driver Amara and it's borderline game-breaking.

Got this from the desolation cube with 50% additional radiation with next 2 mags over a month ago and haven’t stopped using it since. It’s so good. FYI for fellow amaras with the Drive COM you can unload all but one bullet then start sprinting max speed and fire your last shot and all the shots you stuck to the target receive the movement speed damage bonus from the MOD

FYI, If you switch to the Unforgiven pistol before reloading your Alchemist, it will count all the Alchemist pellets as the 350-384% Crit bonus.

I just got a double penetrating pent-up alchemist myself (as a random drop from a badass anointed) after having no luck with heckle/hyde. I wanted any alchemist in general, but when I saw it was a double, I was even happier. It's awesome with the transformer shield. I love that it shoots sticky's and that they all explode on reload. Its fascinating to see that damage stack up all at once. Tip; reloading early will set off all sticky's currently waiting; you don't need to wait until the end of the clip, although that's obviously preferred in general

Tip : Use all u bullets in a crit. Then change 2 a unforgiven and have the damage of alchemist and more 800% damage from the unforgiven (only crits)

I believe the highest crit modifier is 480% for the unforgiven. Not sure where you got 800% from..

I am convinced that the very best use for this weapon is with an Infiltrator Zane build. Increased damage and movement while shields are low, so this constantly killing your shields works WONDERS. Pair it with a shield that has good amount of reflection like the RICO, + Digiclone absorption augment and you’ll literally be unstoppable while destroying everything in your path.

One of the most unfair advantages to this gun is using a Jakobs Unforgiven along with it. Literally dump a mag into graveyards crit spot and quickly change to the Unforgiven before the rounds blow up. It triggers that extra 300% crit damage. I instant kill Graveward in Mayhem 4 by doing this (moze).

There's a nice quirk to this gun if you're using zane... When you have Transformer equipped and barrier up it sometimes triggers the Transformers bullet absorb and fills up your mag as you fire...

Amara with Tempest, Sustainment, Arms Deal, a Transformer shield, and an elemental projector. Additional Elemental and splash damage and using this weapon refills your health and shields. Use Ties that Bind, Crit the main target as many times as possible, switch to an Unforgiven to get +432% Crit damage and watch every enemy on the screen die.

I Love that Gun on Torque Moze. And the Double-Penetrating Version is even more ridiculous :D Oh, and talking about underrated Guns... The Kunlax. I know, it is not a Legendary, but it could damn well be one ! Granted, it is a bit tricky to use at Long Range, because of the Bullet Spread, but the DPS you can Deal with this at Mid to Close Range is Insane. It is Shock only tho. It has REALLY high Damage for a Dahl Sniper aswell and always comes with a x2 Multiplier as far as i know.

I have a double penetrating Alchemist that I've been using forever, but I got it as a world drop. I have never had a legendary drop from Heckle. Hardly ever get more than cash and sometimes 1 or 2 green weapons. And that's on mayhem 4!! And I've killed him a lot, usually with the Alchemist lol

The best way to use this gun is to shoot the enemy as many times as possible and then switch to an Unforgiven to get 432% damage on every explosion that Crits.

I would really like to see the build/gear this weapon was tested with. I used Moze build with similar build, judging by your stats. I used god rolls com/artifact. Didn't se one fifth of the damage in this video. It's actually pretty normal for this videos, weapons overperform hugely. What is the secret?

A good thing to try is to stick them with the alchemist then switch to the unforgiven as they explode for better damage.
