Not to mention that shield of retribution path has tons of damage boosters. Imho you are far better off with a class mod which gives a huge bonus to the desperate measures skill than the Blast Master legendary, since it boosts the all damage all the time. I mean if you flack the world, do you have the consistent bonus of 100% when you have to reload every four shots? Yeah, probably not.

@@thislopop2700 plus, if you are like me, you have +4 phalanx, which is huge in proving grounds, cause each kill is 18% damage. Along with the fact of both a frontloader, and a deathless, and damn, huge 41k shield

@@RealSnugh my class mod gives +3 in DM and +2 in the skill that gives you gun damage the more your mag is emptied with a incen deathless and incen lyuda+butcher combo, so i get +100% from DM, +60% from the other skill, and still have 49k shield .... and thats not including the other skills that also increase my gun damage even more lol

I just want a buffed Iron Bear :( The whole reason I picked Moze was because of her awesome action skill, and it feels so pointless with the terrible scaling after the normal playthrough. It's a frikkin giant robot, I shouldn't feel like I'm shooting foam darts.

I once got trapped in a corner by some skinny twig of a COV while in Bear. I'm in a freaking walking tank! I should be able to just squish the pathetic ants! Also, taking melee damage while in Bear?! Do you know how many tanks have been lost in combat because someone beat it with a stick? The answer is zero... it's a freaking tank.

The blood letter class mod is op if u do a shields of retribution and a demolition woman build with hex grenades. This means you can not die also put a 1 hp relic for more tankyness.

Nice, personally don’t feel the need for the added tankyness, I prefer to use an elemental projector with CoV weapon - MOARR Embrace the Pain - damage output is ridiculous. Need to try out hex grenades more, been using the stormfront which works amazingly.

Let's be honest here: I've NEVER seen a bottomless mag/demo woman hybrid but am running and seen everyone run a sor/demo woman hybrid instead. 50k shields, shield leech to infinity and MORE than enough damage while also never having to reload is imo superior to everything you could get out of bottomless mags atm

Yea I also use the DEMO/SOR build and honestly I see it as much better than the one he rates 6/5. I would argue he should rate bloodletter 6/5 and blast master 4/5 or maybe 5/5. With bloodletter build you do exceptional damage with both all guns and the best grenades instead of just the best grenades and some guns.

Agreed. I think the ratings are based on the class mods with no other synergistic gear, which I get. But let's be real, you're never going to play bloodletter without the SoR tree skills it gives + the deathless artifact. It's not even close to comparable. As soon as I got a deathless (after already getting a bloodletter) and respec'ed into the tree (DW was my main tree and I switched from BM into SoR), my DPS skyrocket. And I switched from the blastmaster, all the while using a flakker.

@@limbos15 no you dont want the deathless artifact because it creates too much of a delay for your amp damage procs, you want minimal shield capacity and max recharge rate, delay doesnt matter much either.

Plus the blodletter mod usually gives you 1-3 bonus points into desperate measures. So, I'm not quite sure what your argument was...?

@@limbos15 you dont need that, you already lose hp on reloads, you dont need an artifact to do that for you when you could use "grave" artifact instead and get a 35 percentish dmg increase instead. the larger your shield the longer it takes to fill back up foramp damage on your amp shield because it uses a percentage not a flat amt. your gun damage affects the dmg on your secondary explosions @75 percent, so amping up your explosion at 75 percent by 150 dmg from amp, 20 from grave and 15 splash dmg on grave u get way higher dps

@@limbos15 once you are at no hp, with the bloodletter you cant heal anyways, deathless is reduntant and useless, it saves you 20 seconds that it takes to fire off shots and reload to get to your 100 percent dmg buff threshold from a 3 pt DM bloodletter COM

Surprised you haven't mentioned how OP Moze is with desperate measures. If you can get a class mod with +3 into it, with +2 points into thin red line, you get a permanent 100% gun damage before you factor in drowning in brass, vladof ingenuity, Phalanx doctrine and scorching RPM which in total gives you 200%+ weapon damage which just breaks Mayhem 3 in half like axe through a chicken egg

Marky Rodriguez I went all the way down the SoR tree and still put points into DM and PD. Up to 83% damage on DM and running the deathless artifact. It’s actually a little too easy with her lol. Any gun you put in her hands does insane damage.

I think you are unknowingly underrating bloodletter because you described its “build” wrong. i dont think you are seeing the “meta” builds on bloodletter because while they do dip into shield tree, its the demo build (the OP one) whereby all the damage and regen you do with vampyr goes into shields. I honestly think it is the best mod because you are basically unkillable. You run the stormfront or hex usually and youre shield never goes down. Any comments?

R A is correct. Vampyr heals based off your missing health. With a Bloodletter build, your HP is always 1, so Vampyr is always trying to heal for the maximum amount. Every tick of Stormfront restores shields equal to X% of whatever your max health is supposed to be, making you virtually invincible. Since assembling this combo, even on mayhem 3 I have only ever been downed by some absolutely irresponsible laziness on my own part. "You can't really run this with, like, demolition woman" confirms that RyanCentral has not really considered this combination. This item is at it's best by far when combined with demolition woman.

Infinite grenade moze build with bloodletter means that you rarely go down. Having the ability where your grenades can heal you and this class mod means that you can heal really quickly. I use infinite grenade moze with the bloodletter class mod and the hex grenade.

Rocketeer has a secret use. The explosions Iron Bear do, with Means of Destruction, can Regen your ammo, you can put Iron bear down with explosive miniguns and spam rocket launchers Hence the name ;)

You absolutely can run Bloodletter with Demolition Woman; in fact you SHOULD run it with Demolition Woman because with Vampyr and infinite grenades, you heal 20% of your already huge and beefy shields.

Also worth complaining that FL4K got nerfed pretty hard with both his favored build and weapon being reduced heavily without any added incentive to go into other builds, meanwhile Moze has 4 different builds that can take on nearly any content and Zane has 0. They did not do a great job with balancing this time around.

John Johnson i went for a build like that but recently i switched it for a demolition woman build. But i found a legendary gun that would go nice with a fast fire rate build. The fire rate was 8/s but when sliding it was 16/s i was also wearing a slide relic with it so i could slide better. But if you pair the gun with ammo regen perks you be firing like a minigun while having infinite ammo as long as you hitting crits and sliding

I run Blast Master with a Double Penetrating Ogre and it kills everything on mayhem 3 so fast regardless of the modifiers. Flakker is good too but I can spam the Ogre without worrying about accidentally emptying my ammo and reloading.

Bloodletter let's the grenades heal shields. Pair that with Hex and Scourge Rocket Launcher and you are an unkillable rocket launcher spamming machine that gets bigger damage bonuses than the Splash damage much more consistently (aka all the time)

Yes and No...... it does cause an explosion but Short fuse doesnt proc skills like Means of destruction unless the splash hits another person.

So anointed enemies have a weakness element wise? There skin is purple and they turn into Eridium when you beat them which makes me not sure if fire damage effects them like flash enemies or if there is another element they are weak too. I haven’t been able to find any info about this either.

run the bloodletter, frontloader shield, artifact that doubles shields but reduces to one hp and use the hex grenade and you will become an actual god. bloodletter should be 5/5 its the best for building low hp because any healing with your grenandes goes right to shields making infinite survivability that isn't possible without it using the 1hp build

Tbh I would rate bloodletter higher than blast master. Blast master is good for cheap boss kills with rocket launcher infinite ammo etc, but normal gameplay is just a mess (I know, I know, fun for some....apologies Mr Torgue!) Despite the amount of explosions and insane flakker damage, a bloodletter build can clear mobs just as efficiently and with far better survivability. Also and most importantly you have the whole spectrum of guns to choose from

Ugh no......get a recurring Hex grenades and blastmaster destroys all content since all grenades count as splash with a 20% higher chance for grenades to crit. SOR is better for shields and gun damage only.

it doesn't work with only 1 health. it doesn't have time to replenish your shield you are already down. skill it only if you still have 10 or 20% life not reserved. I used it before i got some of my legendaries and it worked great. Also don't forget the shield need to go back to 100% before it can activate again. (haven't used it in the last 4 days might bugged if the HP left is not the issue)

Maybe it would be improved with something like adding 1 second of invulnerability on shield break, too, so it has the time to apply the shield before you are in FFYL?

This man does not know how to use that last mod. I use the trooper build and I’m able to jump straight into mayhem 10 and melt everything, even bosses. With this build I literally will spend 3 to 4 minutes in the mech and only about 15 seconds out of it before it becomes available again. Basically you stay in the mech.

Hmm, I was hoping for a mod to bump up Bottomless Mags. I’ve been loving my BM run, and found the capstone can make certain weapon choices so much more useful. But I also know that BM is the weakest tree to focus on in Mayhem. It pairs well with the other trees, but not as the focus. It really could have used a cool legendary mod to boost it.

Actually, BM works fantastic with the Bloodletter mod. If you get a good one with 3 points in desperate measures, you literally double your damage permanently without spending many points. I myself am running it with BM and you make alot of weapons worthwhile in M3. That way you always have a gun that isn't terribly screwed by one of those modificators. This is by far the strongest setup, not the weakest. Specially with DW not having any damage buffs whatsoever.

Yeah, but if you get any blue or purple mod with extra points in Thin Red Line and Desperate Measures, you get the same effect. The Legendary bonus of exchanging health regen for shield regen, doesn’t really help a BM Moze, since her only health regen is at the bottom of Demolition Woman. For my tastes, an ideal BM legendary would take advantage of crit hits and fire rate. Since you can basically focus fire nonstop into someone’s face with BM Moze, something that procs with critical hits. Maybe we’ll get more mods with the dlc.

@@arellajardin8188 Not having healing is exactly why you'd want that mod, give her a good healing grenade/ weapon and all your healings needs are filled. Would be great to get that grenade healing skill on it instead of thin red line or phalanx doctrine, but I guess that would be a little too op. I do however agree that it'd be nice to have a class mod specifically designed for bm. Maybe something that increases magazine size at the cost of reload speed? Or perhaps some sort of (crit-)damage buff based on magazine size? The whole tree scales off of magazine size, so I'd love to see that being build upon. Fire rate however is a little counter productive, considering that works against bullet regen.

I think a higher fire rate is fine, because Forge, Redistribution, and Cloud of Lead have the potential to completely negate another skill in the tree. Click Click. You can’t get bonus damage from an emptying clip, if the clip doesn’t empty at all.

I have not finished the video but no bloodletter is a 5/5 because you use it with demo women not shield tree and that literally makes you invulnerable because your grenades heal 20% hp per enemy hit and you can have infinite grenades which now heals shield instead

100% correct got to think about the whole tree when ranking. Dont have to have any points in retribution if you use deathless. And with the recurring hex you basically get endless mags without going into endless mags. Also you can use it with re router which takes 50% of sheilds and does 120% damage and returns health... you can get the 2 second kill on grave like some other classes.

I did sheild of retribution and bottomless mags so I can just mob for days and shock cant touch me or my shield cuz I'm using the transformer shield, and it just converts shock into health. I also use that classmod where if I'm to be healed its given to me in shield rather than health, and since my shield is so high and my health low im able to resist elements much more effectively. Moze is OP!

Yeah the way i have moze set up is super op, i never need to pick up health ammo or grenades. I just chuck nades and i cant be killed. My main tree was demolition woman secondary tree was endless mags and my skill mod is 2 to phalanx and 3 to desperate measures.with a deathless artifact of course.

One comment I'd like to make about the Mine Sweeper class mod is it's one of the best for grinding/farming the infamous Chupacabratch. Very easy to land crits and you can really get a great feeling as to how much those micro grenades contribute. Spoiler: It's a lot.

I want a Legendary Mod dedicated purely to green skill tree and Vladof. I want bottomless, huge mags and absolutely insane fire rate. Sure it's not practical and it sure as hell won't make Moze a "God Queen" but it would be fun as hell. I found a purple mod that comes close but I want something completely unpractical and ridiculous! I want to be a walking Vulcan cannon! Sometimes it's about having fun, not "Min/Maxing". "Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt" -Moze, hopefully sometime in the future.

I have an epic class mod that has +5 in Marksman (increases fire rate and critical hit dmg). It’s definitely the fun you’re looking for, especially with my double barrel Unending Magnificent. My whole build revolves around it

The green Monster can drop with up to +5 Scorching RPMs if you want 10/5 in that skill and it can also drop with up to +5 Iron Bank and if you get especially lucky, on top of 10/5 Iron Bank you might get up to 26% ammo capacity. Combine this with an artifact that has +50% ammo capacity and you can get a guns ammo capacity over 200% of the guns original capacity. It can also spawn with Click, click but unless you are building around that I don't see much of a point.

Minesweeper should work with the Skill that makes Mozes grenades have a chance to crit. This would also combo with Fire in a Skag Den which has +4 on the one you showed. That makes splash damage have a change of dealing bonus fire damage.

Imo blood letter is probably the strongest mod, easy 5 out of 5. If you spec correctly and use legendary artifact for hp of 1. And a shield mod that reduce max life by 60% and add to shields, plus the passive adding max life to shields. Those still calculates max life as if it would be max life, not 1. Little to say my base shields on Moze is 51k. And I can reach upwards of 100k shields with the passive in this tree where you gain shield and gun damage on kill for 30 seconds. Not worth too much that one as each stack do not refresh but lasts 30 stacks but keep going infinitive. Its really good for the Slaughterhouse 3000 on the new mayhem 3 since Mayhem 3 now is twice as hard as earlier mayhem 3. And them shields truly come in handy. Any health pack you pick up will heal your shields and a transfusion grenade to boost and your pretty much unkillable. This skill tree shine also in its damage as you will do 50% more damage at low life, 100% uptime. Mozes kill skills also lasts a very long time and is dramatically more powerful then Fl4Ks kill skills or any other character. I started playing Fl4K and he is powerful indeed. Then you swap to Moze, and use similar gear, and realize your kill time is cut in half and even more on some bosses. While being 3 to 4 times as tanky. One thing to note when your max hp is 1, is the keystone is useless. So go for bottomless mags or the other tree. Reason for this is it does not proc instantly when shields are reduced to 0 you will take a few hp of damage, not much but maybe 100, but since you got 1 hp.... I think its a bug not yet fixed but its still like this in the game. Unf blood letter is literally the only good legendary class mod for Moze. You want to stack shields since she have no way to get max health, but instead she have massive shields. And again, she is by far the most tanky character in game, while also dealing damage with 100% uptime which deals MORE damage when Flak is in stealth mode, while at the same time rocking a combined 3 to 4 times the amount of "health" through shields. The only draw back to Moze is that the mec is absolutely useless in Mayhem 3. So little to say, she have no action skill worth using for Mayhem 3 mode. I hope they buff the mechs armor or damage mitigation by atleast 50%, and its damage by around 30%. PS : I run bottom less mags or demolition woman with the shield spec. Since the keystone for shields do not, as per above, work when you have 1 hp. At level 50 you have enough to pick up the later passives in the shield tree then get bottom less mags as well. Last but not least, you do not loose out on a "little bit of tankiness", you loose around 30 to 50K of "life" You cant even be 1 shot by the "one shot" mechanics in this game with shield of retribution spec. And again your damage due to the 50 to 85% more flat damage multiplier when low life, there is nothing in the other 2 trees that can come close to this. I tried the Scatter gun spec everyone thing is op. My machine guns deal more, but I also rock a laser+explosions Incendiary rifle that shoots double the amount of shots, its a laser with double damage plus incendiary which moze gets a crap ton of bonus damage in, plus..rockets:) Think they nerfed the scatter gun though as it now travels a set amount, earlier it hit the mobs closest to you. Last note : Everyone ditched Moze as the worst solo character to start with. After playing all classes and lastly Moze, she was by far, by miles, the strongest solo class to complete the campaign with. Not even a contest. As it is now, shes head and shoulders above the rest in damage and survivability, she just lacks a good action skill outside of mayhem 3. Anything below this the Mech wrecks.

This was the problem for Axton and Gage (even FL4K's pets suffer this). They need better scaling for endgame. Axton was sort of a outlier, since his turret was a excellent slagging tool when you can properly spec into it.

I like using the Legendary Re-Router Shield so I can get that 120% Amp damage for 50% of my shield which goes right back up cuz I'm getting more with my MRV Shock Hex grenades. Makes my Burning Flakker hella more dearly.

I'd say the trooper class mod is my favorite for anything other than Mayhem mode tbh. In just normal/TVHM mode the mech kinda destroys everything it sees so being able to stay in it for very long periods of time is definitely fun to pull off. I'm just a bit sad that Mayhem mode kinda just says "hey uh.... stop using your mech nerd."

My build is simply Re-router + Bloodletter + Recurring Hex Grenade = high dps and survivability. I'd rate Bloodletter higher than Blast Master, +100 splash damage is nice but I'd rather have 120% amped damage that's always active due to the grenade shield heal and be hard to kill.

Blast Master is still better in terms of pure raw damage than Bloodletter with Desperate Measures and Re-Router even. Using a weapon like the Ogre or Flakker but more importantly, Blastmaster also boosts your nade damage which always counts as splash damage. And you are always spamming nades as Moze. Whereas Re-Router and Desperate Measures only boost your gun damage (Re-Router isn't actually always active btw, but it is still active fairly often to be quite good), Blastmaster boosts both. The difference that has made Bloodletter better is that it makes you literally immortal with vampyr, at least until that interaction inevitably gets altered in some form.

Also for buffing iron bear I think all tgat really needs to happen is bonus damage and health with mayhem levels. Like at mayhem 1 it get 25% bonus. Not perfect but its something to make it not a glorified safety net.

Iron Bear is now impossible to kill. It heals with grenade damage, just run rocket pods. I can't be killed in M4.

Why do they keep making heads with eye patches over a character's right eye if every character shoots right-handed? If you lose your right eye, you learn to shoot left-handed (unless you get your right eye replaced with a bionic eye like Wilhelm or Spike Spiegel). That's just the way it works. Too bad the left-handed guns flew out the airlock.

Heh I just realized, 4 years old. It's now... well Iron Bear scales so well on 10 no one would go without it. Now Moze can't really do bupkus to bosses without gimmicky builds she'd always down herself with on bosses unless you're really good with gigantic launcher weapons or stuff... go figure... Also would love a 100% uptime Iron Bear build. But for auto bear pretty much. Hop in, save my butt, hop out, wreck everything with the acid railgun and cryo minigun because the AI aims better than I do.

You know what I only just noticed? CLASS MODS. DO NOT. ALTER. YOUR CLASS TITLE. I don't know why but I consider that a tremendous loss. Something really satisfying in changing from "Comma ndo" to "Shock Trooper" and the like.

I think blastmaster suffers from sharply diminishing returns. +100% damage sounds amazing but when you already have +200-300% increased damage from other sources, +100% only truly gives you +25%+33% more damage.

Bloodletter with bonus into Desperate Measures giving 80-100% bonus damage if you have on a Deathless seems much higher than a 3/5, sure it isn't as flashy and instant boss melting as Crit Flak or Blaster Moze, but if you have maxed out vampirism on your grenades and a multi-hit grenade like Storm Front or Firestorm, you heal tens of thousands a second while throwing free grenades and with more of the demolition tree you are getting mostly free ammo to spam the Flakker. I respect the view on it but personally it should 5/5 for being an unkillable wall.

I don't agree with the SoR tree/Bloodletter being rated below Blast Master. SoR + Demo Woman is infinite grenades which equates infinite shields while still doing a lot of damage. The only downside is the lowered firerate/increased reloading, which equates less self-dps, but that's circumvented using Rocket Launchers and stuff like Flakkers.

It should be mentioned that Bloodletter is part of an infinite combo. As it replaced your health gain and health Regen with shield gain and Regen, if you spec into Vampyr+ Pull the Holy Pin + Means of Destruction and use a high-tick rate grenade like the Storm Front or Hex you effectively gain infinite ammo and grenades. Pair this with a large shield like the Front Loader, and Deathless artifact and you can attain some insanely high shield values, and heal yourself every time your grenade crits, which automatically begins refilling her shield due to the Bloodletter passive. My current record is 104k shield.

if I can get a bear trooper mod that has +5 to Stainless Steel Bear I will give Iron Bear another try. They have since buffed the Bear by itself and the way certain skills interact with the bear. SSB now adds IB damage Scorching RPMs increases Iron Bear damage now They buffed a few other Iron Bear skills too. But having 10/5 to Stainless steel bear gives increased fuel, armor and damage. Also in the latest update there are guns that create novas while Action Skill is active which means as long as you are in Iron Bear you are generating novas every 4 or 5 seconds. I really just want a reason to give Iron Bear another try.

Have they removed the Bloodletter mod from the game or something? I have been farming Chupacabratch for three days now, like 12 plus hours total and he never drops it. I think i saw it when I first bought the game, but threw it away before knowing what it was. He will drop pretty much every other class mod for Moze and other characters except the bloodletter one and no one online ever has one they'll part with. This is on Xbox in Mayhem Mode 3. Is there somewhere else to farm for it, bc this is getting ridiculous.

Fl4k is not OP especially when compared to moze and amara after playing with both fl4k and Zane I would even go as far as to zane is more powerful than fl4k first of all fl4k has very little survivability and his damage is less than that of amara. Any build can kill graveward in under 4 seconds on tvhm mayhem 3 but it's a lot harder to do slaughter shaft with the same difficulty settings

I am disappointed there isn't a mod that focuses on the machine gun/bottomless mags side of her kit. Something simple like "increase damage by 2% for every shot landed before reloading" instead of before forced to run the explosive variant and change yourself into a walking Torque Ad

I think the biggest problem with the Iron Bear Mod is it didn't have the ability to increase the Bears damage, I'd also put Bloodletter higher, I, unfortunately, have been unable to replace my level 27 Bloodletter mod but am still using it over the level 50 other mods(even though that doesn't change a whole lot in the mods capabilities.)

If or when Iron Bear gets a buff this class mod will probably become really great. It sucks that iron bear is so useless in the endgame. Gearbox has a problem doing this in endgame and it really sucks cause people like using there Action Skills. Iron bear is worse than others have been. I don’t know if gearbox should just buff his Damage or allow Mozes skills to also take effect while in iron bear so his grenade launcher can crit because of her perk. I haven’t played a lot with her but people have told me that enemies take iron bear down really fast in mayhem 3 and her perks from her skill tree don’t count or activate in iron bear. Maybe someone else will know better if that is really true or not.

OK, I take your word for it that Blast Master is better, but it seems like you die more often. Why isn't having that 25, 30, 40K shields better for the player? OK, they might have to stand off more and not get themselves right into the thick of things, but at least they stay alive.

That blood letter mod is op as hell, 5 points in vampyr as well as some other well placed skills and items and you could have Moze running around with 50k shields, 1 health, and have her constantly regenerate grenades and shields when she throws Hexes because the lasers count for individual splash damage and crits. Honestly the bottomless mag tree is completely unnecessary if you go this route, because the splash damage from grenades and gun bullets will give you ammo anyway

I run the re-router with the blood letter mod and a hive rocket launcher. every shot is amped up. if I'm fighting a boss I have a bangstick for damage. I find this provides me a much more consistent damage buff than as blast master is only 100% and the amped shot is 120% so its like having best of both worlds. you do need to have the skill in bottomless mags that regenerates ammo on critical hits and a hex grenade for better the crits then your ammo regen is unbelievably good. can't really find a relic that I like.

You want to know bloodletter with my build is op, unlimited healing grenades don’t need re roster I’m using first aid front loader which reserves 60%max hp to shields which means I only need 3 points to be on 1 hp for max damage from desperate measures and still get redistribution so I also have infinite ammo. So infinite damage with infinite healing = op max

Gaige didn't need to use her action skill either. Deathtrap was really just there to draw fire while you ruin everyone with anarchy. Moze is rather similar in that way. Iron bear is mostly just an OH SHIT button if you're about to go down and need a second to reposition and recover.

In end game BL2 Axtons turret did no damage to speak of it was only good for slagging and battlefront. It seems gearbox made a similar mistake here with Moze, only now it seems worse because iron bear can't even slag.

Moze's Bloodletter class mod is better than you let on. I have one with 3 desperate measures and 2 phalanx doctrine. That puts desperate measures at 100% gun damage at all times because I have a deathless artifact.

I have speced into bottomless mags, demolition woman, and use a blood letter. Before I use the blood letter I had so many survivability problems. When I got that and a transformer shield all my survivability problems went away
