Its the same as halo. You will have this small community that will act like all is fine but in reality, most people have just moved on and accepted that the franchise went out with a whimper.

What are those games then? Because bl3 was recieved relatively fine. The consistent playerbase is roughly the same as bl2 on steamcharts. Outside borderlands I legitimately do not care about what gearbox is developing. Wonderlands was a bit mediocre but I'd buy another wonderlands game if they could show that they took criticism to heart and made it have better endgame and dlcs.

Happy to know that Bl4 isn't going in the direction of the already tired multiverse trend. Though a few things in the franchise could use some heavy retconning ngl 😂

Just bring back Maya, erase Ava, and integrate older character from BL1 and 2 into the story while improving the story writing. I actually would have rather have had Maya as MC for BL3 then Lilith and definitely over Ava. Anyone over Ava. The gameplay was always fun, but man the story and the character writing of BL3, and practically everything from that studio has been utter garbage for a while now. I just don't have faith in being able to play BL4 with the dialogue file undeleted.... But as long as the loot and gameplay stays fun, i will play.

dude it happened get over it. this is a sequal not a reboot. yes it the story is bad. WE KNOW. but unless you got a time machine or have plans on becoming gearbox ceo and remaking 4 completely to suit YOUR wants its time to make peace with it move foreward. well past time if im being honest. avas in the series, shes probably here to stay so the best thing you can do is get over it and make peace with what is instead of getting in your feelings over what you didnt get.

This is what I want for this game the ability to fly in a ship and get into dog fights, that would be cool also can we have a grenade launcher instead of just throwing the grenades still. Something that we could upgrade through the story itself.

That interior shot doesn't look like a lab to me. Candles and joss sticks everywhere, cushions on the floor, and pipes coming off that thing in the middle makes it look like some kind of giant hookah. I think it's supposed to be some kind of hookah lounge/opium den or something.

Really weird people are upset it was literally stated that this is not a reveal of anything just a discussion. Why art so dark and gritty not a fan I like the bright of the other games like it is day time. Also will miss the old characters that was the charm. Really hope we dont get a wild change in what borderlands is. Also game release prediction mid Aug with full reveal in april. But I am more worried the more I learn about 4.

You know not like the main speaker on stage openly said and forced out “I’ve played the whole game twice and it’s amazing” 2 separate times if it’s a completed game you can give 5 minutes of gameplay you can give one minute of gameplay you can give 30 seconds of gameplay but they choose to give 4 CONCEPT art images the game and series is cooked borderlands 3 was hot ass the only positive is that the GAMEPLAY felt the best for the games but the writing and ALL the dialogue was hot ass and makes me want to make out with a 12 gauge shotgun n play with its trigger it got a grand total of 1 playthrough from me when I’ve sunk close to 5k hours into borderlands 1&2 they’re throwing away players faster than I can breathe and blink
