Very good guide. At 6:54 if you miss the crouch and land on the platform below, you can actually still get where you need to get. Just take off your grenade mod, equip a rocket launcher, throw a grenade directly at your feet, jump right before it explodes, shoot your rocket launcher directly below you, and double jump. I use this trick all the time when I somehow get myself "stuck" and can't jump high enough regularly.
