Just saw a youtube video of two people climbing over the tall barrier as if it was nothing. Millions of dollars is wasted with this type of barrier with spaces between the bars for wind to blow through. Need to add an umbrella type barrier on top to prevent the migrants from climbing over the barrier. The barrier as is really defeats the purpose of our security.

It's possible, but there will never be a perfect solution. The point of the wall is to increase the difficulty of undocumented immigration and drug smuggling. The hope is that by making it harder to do both, it will reduce the number of both to more manageable numbers thereby freeing future resources to be invested for other things.
