To make the partially reflective glass you can just buy the foil used for making reflecting windows, it's chip

One thing i struggle with in 3D design is deciding when to turn something into multiple parts. This is such a cool project, and its certainly giving me some inspiration in that regard. Thanks for sharing!

Hey there! When I do a designs I start by scribbeling the thing I have in my head on a piece of paper (I'm really bad at drawing but it's enough) then I proceed by thinking of what measurments I need. When it comes to multiple parts I always try to avoid support for example when I know I need a lid or something which definitely is a part parallel to the buildplate I'd rather seperate it in a different part but I god a feeling for it just be keeping the "no supports wanted" in mind :) And during the design process you may find an alternative approach to your thing which would make printing a lot simpler then restart that part (keeping the old in case the new Idea is shit, been there many times and always regretted deleting the old part :D) Hope that was somewhat helpfull! Have fun :)

Do you sell kits for it? If so, how much?

And what if you use those transparent stickers for windows that make the window like a mirror i have even seen in AliExpress some filters for cars that reflect a little bit but let pass the light because it is for uv reflection

Hi! As glass of different reflex ratio are available, what is the optimal ratio from your study? Does the ratio vary in regard to the brightness of scene? Thanks!

Apologies for late response. Unfortunately I didnt conduct many experiments myself as I found the semi-silvered glass to be expensive to source. It does vary the brightness of the scene significantly however, I wish I could give some numbers. Without semi silvered glass, which is what I used, I was limited to drawing in the shade or with black paper so a silvered glass like what is used by commercial models is something I would highly recommend if you can figure it out, but I just didnt have the funds to really experiment with it when I made this.

Most well-funded libraries have 3D printers. I've printed camera lucidas, tripods, gorillapods and phone clamps for 0,20-1,50€ each.

This always gets me ay.. I really really want a camera lucida but I cannot afford a proper one or a 3d printer lol

Many libraries have access to printers, there are also companies you can send the files to and have them print it. You could probably find somebody on Etsy to print it for you. Or just ask around you probably know somebody that has a printer.
