So water catchment area is filled with mud n buildings have come up, and there is no way for water to pass. Under road instead of building canals they have put round cement pipes which get blocked by leaves like coconuts n big thermocol n plastic. So requirement is under road big canal as even cows can pass without coming on roads.

This has been happening with every heavy rain for the last several decades in this particular location. This is not new news. Whenever this happened, we used to get a school holiday 😂. I love the holidays, especially when it's raining. Don't worry, it's normal in this area. By the way, that has been my daily commute road to Ponda for the last four decades, so I know this area well. Relax, but don't cut down trees 😊
