That last bit reminded me of a girl in Sweden who got fed up with the motivational posters a bunch of years ago. She started an online shop where she sold small water polished rocks found by the beach that she engraved with different messages. Like "Give up. You know there's no point." with a suggestion like "This one is perfect to have in your bathroom so it's the first thing you see every morning.". :) It was fun browsing her shop, unfortunately I never bought any.

He really does do these things, I think there's been at least 3 or 4 occasions where he was caught out and someone spoiled the joke so he had to go to a backup. Bear in mind these are usually all part of his stand-up too. What we're seeing on 8 out of 10 is often just a little piece of a bigger show that's more elaborate.

Joe is a great troll, and thankfully he only uses his abilities for either harmless fun, or as force for good (or if he needs to get out of a parking fine, obviously); as has been pointed out in other comments, he even has his own Channel 4 TV consumer advice show, where he’s helped people who were either scammed out of money, or ripped off in some way, by bringing great media attention & scrutiny to important issues, due to some of the public stunts he’s pulled. He seems like a genuinely great person, who likes to help people. He’s also bloody funny.

Birmingham: I've lived there since 1996. Having come from a small market town in the south west. It's a very multicultural city, with amazing cuisines from all over the world. My praise ends there. Other than the food, the city is shit! Try Bristol instead. That's a wonderful place.

I think the issues with Sean lock in some of these clips could very well have been him not feeling too good. His head was shaved and he had cancer for decades without telling anyone. This may have been close to before he died. So his energy could have been lower. Also Birmingham is a sh#t hole.
