This year this Mozart Concerto was also played in the 2021 edition of the Queen Elizabeth competition by mr. Dmitry Sin. The last movement of this concerto seems to be technically very difficult and was described as a "real fingerbreaker". I think both Mr. Giltburg and Mr. Sin played it very well!

i believe classical composer did use rubato as it doesnt make any sense otherwise. a harpsichord has limited dynamics compared to a piano, so the means of expression mainly comes from rubato (alongside color, improvisation, and bigger shifts in dynamics), as demonstrated by harpsichordists such as lillian gordis and jean rondeau. why would the practice suddenly stop just because we built a new keyboard instrument?

I am not sure who composed the cadenzas, but I believe some were crafted by romantic composers and some by Beethoven (in between). Mozart just did it on the spot
