@@proselytizingorthodoxpente8304 According to the National Audit Office (NAO), as of June 2022 approximately £25.7 billion had actually been spent on the entire Test and Trace programme, with an estimated lifetime cost of £29.3 billion. You may claim that £25.7 billion paid until June 2022 and £29.3 is not "anything like 37 billion" but to me, it is close enough. The actual point though is are British engineers indeed 1000 times more dumb than German ones or is corruption in the UK just uncomparable to anything you can find anywhere on this planet? Wasting 1000 times the amount Germany had spent on it to receive something that never works is obviously blatant corruption.

Your figures are for the total cost of the UK's test and trace _program_ for two years. Not just the app. In other words, the actual physical testing of basically the entire population multiple times for 2 years. You're not comparing like with like.

@@proselytizingorthodoxpente8304 According to the German Bundestag, the development of the German app was around 24.5 million Euro which is around £21 million, not 38 and therefore, the UK's app that was developed AFTER the German one was already working was around 1.5 times as expensive as the German one that could simply have been bought. Besides, according to the German Bundestag, the whole German program, developing the app, running it and paying for all the call centers and whatever else was needed for its operation cost 220 million Euro which is roughly £188 million, so still only a fraction of the roughly £30 billion wasted in the UK. Wasted because quoting the UK parliament's web site: "Yet despite the unimaginable resources thrown at this project Test and Trace cannot point to a measurable difference to the progress of the pandemic, and the promise on which this huge expense was justified - avoiding another lockdown - has been broken, twice." Do you still think it was reasonable to spend £30 billion on something that did not do anything when a solution that would actually have worked would only cost under £188 million since the UK only has only a population of 67 million compared to the 83 million of the UK which means that there would have been significantly fewer data to process in the UK?

'Herd immunity' was at the center of most countries covid policy before the development of vaccines. Lockdowns were not designed to stop the spread of the pandemic. But to slow it down so that health services could cope. Remember 'Stay at home to protect the NHS'? NHS Nightingale?

Why has he now a multimillion pounds mansion and a lifestyle to support that mansion? Income of a million pound a month! And due to go to America with Farage to campaign for Trump for Money. Our justice system is corrupt that’s why he’s not in jail! He gave 68 million people a desease! He let it spread. He was paid by party Donors not to lock down. An entire country now has to have vaccine’s for the rest of tine! Sunak’s the owner of the vaccine company! Please stop telling lie’s about Herd immunity! Mate. Northern Ireland is not in the EU. It is in the single market. Scotland also voted to remain in the EU but has no such geographical advantage unfortunately.
