I realized borksen is definitely not on morenas side just now think about it She asked 2 major questions 1. She wanted to know how many people she already had under contagion 2. If she is willing to change her mind Why? Simple because if she said no then she'd just find another specialist and morena would probably win Which is why she wanted to know if she could change that and since she realized she couldn't she decided to join them because being on the team gives her the most control over morena because she would be the key piece in morenas plan whatever that might be and so borksen might end up pulling a netero or the invisible ant dude on morena to take her down that's my theory its locked in

@UltimatePower01 ohhh yea true but i think it's probably more similar to the phantom troupe, the group members obviously care a lot more about morena then i think she even realizes much like chrollo and the phantom troupe But yea that's still a concern but they aren't that great by themselves they can be dealt with by many other people if borksen is that important it could change how much everyone is able to progress practically speaking because they can all be taken out Not only that but a lot of their strength is that they work more like a corporation rather than a single entity if they start losing members it will very easily start a domino effect but it would have to happen fairly early on to be fair

I have a question. Is it possible she joined the Haley to develops her hatsu.... By killing other Haley member in secret? One of the conditions is if they killa nen user they get 10 points. With her asking how many Haley members/opposition to the 4th prince, she has the intellectual advantage and only needs to kill 2 Haley to develop her ability and 10 to start her own game. Then when she starts her own game she might be able to change the rules of how the game works and she can protect her friends by having them participate in the game and become the most powerful people in Kakin and change things that way. Just a thought. Seems like the loophole is that killing a men user doesn't omit other Haley members.

Borkson is not accounting for the manipulation aspect of contagion as morena said her technique involved all of them. I think she might be compelled to go along with the big goal as a condition so whatever she's scheming will not matter ultimately

It is possible Borksen choose Yes instead of X because she wants better chance of Survival. Taking the X card with the martial law could get Borksen captured by the military and interrogated and tortured from a prolonged time. Morena needed 3 conditions for the contagion to work and Borksen needed to witness one of the members commit murder which is going to be a lot more difficult with Martial Law in place. Borksen could be stalling for the perfect time so she could escape before she fufill the last condition of witnessing a murder thus becoming a full member of contagion.

@xtinct16 exactly that's my point. Borkeson could be stalling but once she fulfills the 3 requirements for contagion that might all get thrown out the window. Or do you see another aspect of contagion so far that would indicate manipulation? It won't be that difficult to witness a murder during martial law. Especially if the soldiers checking don't know nen they could just snatch them.

The other interesting thing is Chrollo is also looking someone and that the #9 spot formerly by Pakunoda on the Troupe is open which means Chrollo could be looking for someone a specialist with ability similar to Pakunoda being able to read memories. There is very high possibility that Borksens ability has something to do with memories or something about brainwashing as Borksen would like to change Kakins corrupted ways on her own and that Chrollo is actually looking for Borksen.

missed the stream, you prolly got into these but I just had to share regardless if bork does get her specialist ability unlocked, wonder what it's going to be? her personality so far has reflected someone very stern & perceptive with STRONG desires to not partake in any of these shenanigans, basically escapism so i wonder if her specialist ability would develop into something that helps her escape the ship entirely. this would also help Hell-ly get their hands on a specialist ability (one they're looking for) to help them escape the ship eventually after "destroying the kakin empire". I mean, a transportation ability looks vital atm regardless, to every faction involved honestly currently 21 players in the contagion game (after bork joined) so that means they need one more, right? It was 22 in total right but had two of em' killed. Wang could be that last player but there were already 22 players before those two deaths. 90% sure Wang is working with Morena but is he a contagion player or just working with Hell-ly without the game?

Because of neural plasticity. A kid's brain is like a sponge and when you grow up abused the mind specializes on the negatives in life which you can see in the chapter she debuts in such as hunter and prey, parasitism, rich people who dehumanize people by eating meals off their body, avoidable poverty, etc. Morena's beef does not end with humanity but it is against the world and nature itself that created the conditions that allowed these things to happen to begin with. Most people that have gone through a tougher than usual life go through that face but if it was bad enough the mental damage can be impossible to get over. The constant posturing and smiling she does is a survival mechanism. I got a feeling that Togashi is Neuro divergent or at least has a hyperfixation personality and has gone through that phase.

Idk if this is true or not based on the timeline and everything but if Nobunaga?, Phinks, and Feitan suck in the sewers between floors and Borksen was taken from floor 4 to between 2/3. Could there maybe be a path from the sewers/between floors technically to any floor? If this is true this may be hinting at a possible fight while delayed earlier in the manga happening again quite soon.
