David, I was sold on your exhaust system and components while watching an episode of “Count’s Kustom’s “ as you and your dad made an appearance on the show. One of my favorites shows to watch as a retired ASE Master tech. Now, I am restoring a 67 C10 truck w/5.3L LS engine for myself so I can drive off into the sunset. No catilytic converters, no resonators, no nothing except pure exhaust “System” as I was a dealer tech doing my research for parts and products to complete my build. I threw one of the ATAK 3 inch onto my LS3 240sx build, car sounds really good and isn't over the top. Everyone at the track thanks me for not being obnoxious and refined. THANKS BORLA!

Kamil >I became an ASE Master tech while working at a Datsun / Nissan dealer in 78. It is amazing the number of vehicles now powered by the GM "LS" series engine as I have researching parts and peace's for my retirement truck, a 67 C10. Congratulations on your build even if they never responded. I wasn't looking for the truck or this engine, but within 8 months, both fell into my lap as my youngest family member gave up on one and wrecked the other. Never heard of Borla until watch an episode of "Kounts Customs" as tv show on the DEFY network. It is harder now to save money now in the fall of 2022 than every before in retirement, but that's life. They sound great and honestly I was surprised to hear the creative ways they recorded them. I don't gamble, play cards or have hunting dogs anymore, but at 6' 3" tall, it is easier for me than her Malibu to get in and out. Have a safe holiday season and a great 2023! As strange as that sounds to say out loud. DK.

Gotta admit, I'm a huge fan of Borla exhausts. My first 'car' got the Borla treatment. You wouldn't think much of the 4.7 V8 in the '05 Jeep Grand Cherokee, but boy did the ProXS make it sing!

Just put the Atac system on my 1965 impala convertible with a cammed Ls3 swap wish I would have went with the s types. I’m going to add resonators to try and tone it back. Just a heads up for anybody putting these on a convertible it sounds like the car is straight piped.

Replace that restricted chokemater with any borla like atak xr1 s-type or other a straight through muffler chokemaster specially if its the 30 40 44 & above series are to restricted they're not great flowing mufflers at all specially for performance applications

There's no particular reason in this case. Many of our older systems that were developed in the past simply weren't offered in multiple sound levels like we typically do now.

@@paisley2342 Hi. Our CrateMufflers are just mufflers without tips or any piping. They are designed for specific crate engines. They are not universal. We don't recommend using our CrateMufflers outside of the applications they were made for. Our Axle-Back and Cat-Back systems are engineered for specific vehicles. They are typically bolt-on parts and work with the factory exhaust.

We appreciate your interest! The Touring sound level option is an S-Type CrateMuffler with a resonator included. If you follow this link: www.borla.com/products/mufflers/cratemuffler/chevy/# You can select your Chevy engine from the drop down. It will then ask you to select the pipe diameter that you need and which inlet/outlet configuration. Afterwards, you will be able to select a sound level(Touring, S-Type, or ATAK) and it will take you to the product page. The Touring option is below S-Type and ATAK. If you are interested in purchasing, I suggest ordering from one of our distributors as they will have the better price with free shipping in the US. Sorry, I misunderstood your question. These are CrateMufflers; they are tuned for certain crate engines. CrateMufflers are not universal. Unfortunately, we do not have universal mufflers in the Touring sound level. The most quiet universal mufflers that we offer would be the ProXS line.

I had one on my Minneapolis Moline Tractor .. I guess I didn't use a U clamp because it fell off and I ran over it with a brush hog and destroyed it . A V-8 is a V-8 Turbo mufflers are quitter and sound better too ,..

What a highly frustrating "buying experience", starting with the dysfunctional Borla website, then trying to figure out a part number for an LS3 hot rod muffler. You simply do not articulate which is the louder or quieter muffler. A chart of dimensions and exhaust tubing size fitment would cut to the chase, but no, I have to spend hours watching "influencers" yammer about your product.
